Hosted by Bishop Manogue the event brings together teams from Nevada and Northern California for a great cause. Several players used the event to increase their future rankings. Here’s a look at the top 10 stockrisers from the event.
Yes Sir! Clark is a really good and really deep team, so the fact that Montgomery earned minutes was impressive. He showed some quickness and offensive ability. The Freshmen also showed poise handling the ball against defensive pressure throughout the week.
Dizon competed hard. He played some scrappy on ball defense, bringing a toughness to the team. The 2027 guard is a first to the floor type player, who showed a willingness to sacrifice for his squad.
My first look at the freshman and he made quite an impression. He has power and plays with a motor. The strong framed youngster backed down from no one, mixing it up down low, grabbing more than his share of offensive and defensive boards throughout the week.
Looked like Cooper was adjusting to a new role but he did a decent job. He knocked down a couple of his now trade mark corner threes, and did a good job playing as a facilitator from the high post.
Highlights
Nikolov was the only freshman to make the Top Shooters list. If this weekend is any indication, he’s going to spend quite a bit of time on it. He was good all weekend, but at his best in his last game spraying four threes. Behind his marksmanship, the Gaels went 3-0.
