operates with pace and utilizes his court vision to set up his teammates for quality looks. He’s a very unselfish guard who enjoys racking up assists and keeping the offense flowing. It has also been encouraging to see his shooting continue to come along, as he is becoming more comfortable draining shots from 3 point land. On the other end of the court, he stays locked in and will pester his matchup throughout the game with his energy and effort. Montgomery continues to trend in the right direction and looks like a guard whose stock could keep rising as he develops.

was valuable on both ends of the court yesterday for the Chargers. On defense, he covered ground at a rapid rate and got in his opponents’ grills throughout the contest. On offense, Montgomery knocked down a 3, hit four free throws, and dropped in a layup. Overall, it was a complete performance from the reliable sophomore.

made an impact on both ends of the floor against Desert Pines. On offense, he made a couple of hots from beyond the arc and did a good job drawing contact on his drives to the rim. On defense, he hounding ball handlers and giving them very little space to operate. Expect him to be a steady, reliable force for the Chargers throughout the season.

Montgomery has a knack for getting to the rim, but can also hit jumpers. If you watch him play you’ll also notice that he hustles for loose balls and is willing to dive on the ground if needed. All in all, he’s a skilled guard and I like the intensity that he plays with.

Like his IQ. Stood out for not trying to do to much, stuck to the basics, defending the ball, making the next pass, and shooting when left open.

Yes Sir! Clark is a really good and really deep team, so the fact that Montgomery earned minutes was impressive. He showed some quickness and offensive ability. The Freshmen also showed poise handling the ball against defensive pressure throughout the week.
