Santucci is a score-first player but an underrated part of his game that is growing is his ability to get others involved. He draws so much attention from a defense that he will be part of difficult traps that force him to have to pass out. Santucci makes very quick passes that zip through the air allowing him to fit the ball in some tight windows. He can work the midrange and get into the heart of defenses forcing defenses to collapse on him leaving open shooters on the perimeter.
Altobelli is a quick guard that can push the pace at any given moment when controlling the offense. His defense in getting steals and deflections allows him to run the fastbreak many times throughout a game giving him many full-court pass opportunities. If he is trapped he almost always makes the right read to an open teammate. He runs the pick-n-roll well and sets up his big men in great scoring situations.
Carnegie can play at many different paces and will switch it up a lot of the time to confuse defenses. He controls the offense and looks to get good ball movement early to open up cutting lanes for his teammates. He plays off of screens well and will take the midrange jumper if the roller or popper is not open. He always hits his teammates in the chest giving them the best chance to fully set up their shot.
Bragg will look to dominate the paint and rebound for his team but when it comes to playmaking he has improved every year and I feel that this year his whole game with come together. He will look to expose mismatches in the post to draw more attention to him. He does an excellent job of finding open teammates in high-pressure situations. Bragg is constantly finding cutting teammates on the baseline leaving defenders scrambling. His ability to run the fastbreak at the small forward position gives him the advantage of being able to play multiple positions throughout a game.
Crispin is smooth with the ball in his hands and can put on a show with his ability to not only score but also be a playmaker. His ability to constantly keep his eyes on the floor is how he keeps defenses guessing. His handles are so good that he rarely looks down at what he does so he doesn’t miss a pass. Crispin will hit his teammates in stride on the fastbreak with long-court heaves. He is already off to a hot start to the season with back-to-back games with 9 assists.
