Aaron Wolff
Aaron Wolff
Aaron Wolff has been a contributor on varsity since his freshman season, but has shown real signs of improvement and become a valuable starter for Waupaca this season. Through 7 games, Wolff is averaging 14.3 points and 5.9 rebounds on 50/56/75 shooting splits. In total, Wolff is 20/36 from three, which is good for 55.6% on 5.1 attempts per game. That is quite the improvement from his 31.2% mark from last season. Wolff is able to knockdown shots off movement and screens, as well as a spot up threat.
Henry Beuthin Henry Beuthin 6’2″ Ripon | 2024 WI has more than doubled his scoring from a year ago, he’s up to 17.6 points per game now. He’s scoring efficiently, especially from distance. Beuthin is shooting 28/52 (53.8%) from three, on 5.8 attempts per game. As a junior, Beuthin shot a respectable 43.6% on just over 3 attempts per game. As a shooter, he’s mainly a spot up/catch-and-shoot option. Nevertheless, Beuthin is a big reason why Ripon is out to an improved start from last season.
Braden Drinkwine
Braden Drinkwine
After a junior year in which Braden Drinkwine averaged just 2.9 points per game, he’s flipped the script and become the team’s leading scorer as a senior. Through 8 games, Drinkwine is pouring in 14.1 points per game on 52/48/71 shooting splits. Talk about efficiency. Drinkwine has connected on 25/52 (48.1%) three-pointers. Joseph Ascher Joseph Ascher 6’0″ | SG Wautoma | 2024 WI may not be a new name to some, but he definitely doesn’t get the media attention he deserves. Ascher is a 1st team all-conference returner from a season ago and has been a key contributor for Wautoma all four years of his high school basketball career. He’s improved every year and through 7 games is averaging 24.9 points on 26/56 (46.4%) from three. That’s a whopping 8 attempts per game, a very healthy volume. Ascher has always been a sharpshooter from distance, marked by his career 41% from three.
