My first time seeing Adem play since coming back from injury. He looked smooth, shot it well and showed a strong handle, as he navigated his way around relentless pressure against Jefferson out of New York.
Highlights
The number 1 player in the class showed trademark power and explosion. He finished everything around the rim, with force, leading Arbor View to a 1st round victory in the Platinum bracket.
Jackson did what he usually does, he led his team in scoring and assisting at a high level. Most importantly he came up big in the clutch, coming up with the play of the game, getting an on ball steal and turning it into the game winning layup.
Had a good showing for himself. Koul played above the rim, rebounding and discouraging drives. His size and athleticism was a problem and helped Hug to an easy 1st round victory.
Makur was another player that punished the rim. The big man showed explosion and power, finishing several plays with dunks, including a crazy offensive rebound off a missed free throw that he hammered home.
Putting himself into the category of top shooters. The sophomore did well for himself, knocking down some clutch threes for Vegas. His ability to keep the floor spread was a key element to the Wildcats first round victory.
Highlights
Jefferson’s Alpha came out when it was needed most. He was the catalyst for Gorman holding off a tough and scrappy Sagemont squad. The junior PG made several clutch finishes, and mid range shots to propel his team to a 1st round Platinum Bracket win.
Highlights
Washington scored in spurts, using his athleticism to finish in transition. He used his skill to knock down threes when left open, and his toughness to corral in traffic rebounds. His play helped his Bishop Gorman squad advance with a 1st round victory.
