Versus Robbinsdale Armstrong Wednesday night Jorgensen scored 29 to lead Washburn to a 87-58 win. That’s not all. Washburn had games Saturday, Monday and Tuesday too. Jorgensen scored 34 versus Eastview in a tight 64-59 win, a light 13 points versus Roosevelt in a 88-47 win and Washburn beat St. Thomas Academy 77-51.
Aiden Johsnon – The six-foot-four-inch forward from Cannon Falls is off to a strong start of his Senior year. Scoring 20 in 4 of the first 5 games including a 22-11 performance versus Pine Island, and collecting at least 10 rebounds in 3 of his first 5. Johnson has gone 11/33 from behind the 3-point arc as well.
Greyson Uelmen Greyson Uelmen 6'2" | PG Minnetonka | 2024 State MN – The six-foot guard from Minnetonka is off to a strong start for the Skippers averaging 19 points a game and scoring his season high 26 Saturday versus Osseo. Uelmen has scored more than 20 in 3 of his 5 games played so far. Along with the scoring punch he’s added to his Senior year, he’s playing hard nose defense on the perimeter and giving Minnetonka another ball-handler on the floor at all times.
Riley Johnson Riley Johnson 6'4" | SG Chanhassen | 2025 State MN – The six-foot-three-inch 2025 guard from Chanhassen and Northstar Titans really has it going scoring so far. Johnson has scored more than 20 3 times, more than 16 4 times so far. Versus Buffalo on the 19th he poured in a season high 36 points. Shooting over 40% from 3 as a sophomore, Johnson is taking a step to be more of a primary scoring threat for the Storm.
Nolan Groves Nolan Groves 6'4" | CG Orono | 2025 State #259 Nation MN – The 2025 Groves has fallen into the hole that 2023 guard Isaiah Hagen has left and is trying his darndest to fill it. Over 6 games Groves is averaging 25 points per game while scoring 33 in a shootout versus Richfield and high profile scorer CJ Armstrong. The six-foot-four-inch Junior has been successful scoring from inside the 3-point and outside, and gotten himself to the free throw line well.
Ai’jhon Douglas – Douglas is a five-foot-nine-inch guard from St. Paul Harding. The 2025 guard has scored over 20 in 3 of his last 4 games peaking with 33 points versus Fridley December 19th. Douglas has helped give them a 4-2 record to start 2023-24.
Gideon Cooper Gideon Cooper 6'6" | PF Fridley | 2024 State MN – Cooper is an explosive 2024 wing from Fridley. Cooper has had a few explosive put back dunks recently and really blew up scoring versus St. Paul Harding with a 28 point performance.
