Point Guard Play
Two of the best distributing PG’s in the state regardless of classification and regardless of grade put on a good show.
Chance Dastrup Chance Dastrup 5'10" | PG Orem | 2025 State UT || Orem High School ||
Not only did Chance prove to be the difference maker on the floor but he had some key plays that just got you off your seat in crucial moments. He had some smart plays when he was able to pick up the pace and he had some smart plays where he was able to slow things down. his passing in traffic was a sight to see and he is a player that can hit timely buckets.
Jordan Roberts Jordan Roberts 6'0" | PG Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School ||
Passing ability is nice, he kind of has that Rondo ability to push the tempo and find players on the move. Showed he can score from deep and displayed that mid-range shooting ability. That mid-range comes in handy because he has a big that takes up space on the blocks and attracts multiple defenders. Roberts takes advantage of the space and he can find open players with ease. Good balance from Roberts.
Big Plays in the Paint
Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School ||
Kyle was tough in the paint, his footwork and speed on spins and quick moves to the basket was something that stood out for sure. He is relentless on the glass and anywhere around the rim. Defense was solid, especially because he can hold his own 1 on 1.
Kai Wesley Kai Wesley 6'8" | PF Orem | 2026 State UT || Orem High School ||
Right off the bat Kai was going at the big fella and he was solid going over his shoulders with those one handed hooks. He has put on a few pounds of muscle that helped him on both ends of the floor. Kai will really grown into his own these next two years and shine as he is starting to mature and figure out how he can be of use on the floor.
Trey Hiatt Trey Hiatt 6'6" | PF Orem | 2025 State UT || Orem High School ||
Trey did some great things as a hybrid SF and his ability to defend and help in the post really made a big difference in the game. If he learns how to use his fouls and just be active around the rim he is going to be very valuable when he is on the floor.
Big Play Makers
Breackon Robinson || Dixie High School ||
Shooting ability was on display and no moment was too big for him as he hit a massive 3 pointer on the move. Breackon could hunt for a few more shots because he is a knockdown shooter.
Asher Young Asher Young 6'5" | CG Orem | 2024 State UT || Orem High School ||
big rebounds, big defensive stands and that is what you need on a team with a few players that can take up more of the scoring.
Tate Robinson Tate Robinson 6'2" | SG Orem | 2026 State UT || Orem High School ||
Tate is developing and he is becoming a weapon. The kid can shoot and everything he throws up make or miss looks like it’s going in. He is going to be a big time scorer moving forward.
The Little Things
Logan Weidauer Logan Weidauer 6'5" | SF Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School ||
Had a few moments where he could bully the smaller guards and when he could blow buy anyone snoozing on defense. He had himself a solid game.
Jax Allen Jax Allen 6'4" | CG Orem | 2025 State #391 Nation UT || Orem High School ||
Jax continues to look super solid slashing and getting into that mid-post area where he can use that hook he shots over smaller guards. He is also getting stronger with that handle.
