While Sandia maintained the lead for the entirety of the game, Roswell never made it easy for them. They continued to creep their way back into close situations, but despite the Matadors' cold shooting, they kept themselves in the game. [player_tooltip player_id='2172947' first='Jahmil' last='Crayton-Johnson'] was their primary source of offense in the first half, going 5/6 from three in the first and second quarter. [player_tooltip player_id='2292960' first='Zaire' last='Ndyabagye'] was able to get it going in the second half, and continued building on his previous performances by providing stellar rebounding and three-level scoring. Roswell's [player_tooltip player_id='2376308' first='Rylan' last='Sarracino'] continued his hot scoring streak by dropping 20 points after a 24-point performance the night before. [player_tooltip player_id='1295238' first='Steven' last='McCaskill'] was also able to find his rhythm in this one, putting up 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

This game was tied at halftime, which can give one some pretty good insight into what happened in the second half. Volcano absolutely dominated the second half, giving Cleveland no breathing room. [player_tooltip player_id='1176300' first='Kenyon' last='Aguino'] was nothing short of incredible, solidifying himself more and more as a Division 1 talent every night. [player_tooltip player_id='2111977' first='David' last='Lunn'] broke out this game, putting up 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, along with two highlight reel worthy dunks to shift the momentum in Volcano's favor. On the Cleveland side, [player_tooltip player_id='1158654' first='Daniel' last='Steverson'] looked unstoppable, putting up 22 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, along with possibly the greatest dunk I've ever seen live in a high school game. [player_tooltip player_id='1326930' first='Remy' last='Albrecht'] was the main source of offense in the second half, ending the game with 20 points.
