We're in the final week of the regular season. Here's how Class 3A shapes up heading into next week's district tournaments:

Navajo Prep (22-3, 11-0) has clinched the regular season District 3A-1 title and carries a 15-game winning streak into Thursday's regular season finals at Crownpoint. Two or three additional teams from 3A-1 could make the state tournament – Tohatchi (20-6, 9-3), Thoreau (12-13, 6-5) and Wingate (14-10, 6-5) are possibilities

St. Michael's (20-5, 8-1) still leads District 3A-2 despite Tuesday night's last-second loss to Robertson on [player_tooltip player_id='2216708' first='Michael' last='Marr']'s 35-footer as time expired. The Horsemen can claim the outright title with a victory at struggling Santa Fe Prep Friday night. Santa Fe Indian (20-4, 7-2) and Robertson (15-10, 7-2) are tied for second and those two teams square off Thursday night at SFIS

With two regular season games remaining, red hot Cobre (20-3, 4-0) has clinched at least a share of the District 3A-3 regular season title. The Indians have won 13 consecutive games and face Socorro and Hatch Valley (combined 11-33 record) in the final two games, so it will take a pair of massive upsets to deny Cobre the outright district title.

Tularosa (22-3, 5-0) secured the District 3A-4 regular season title with Tuesday night's convincing 70-41 victory over NMMI. The Wildcats face Ruidoso Friday in the regular season finale. Tularosa has lost just two games since New Year's Day – Navajo Prep on Jan. 8 and Cobre on Jan. 29. The Wildcats are No. 6 in the latest MaxPreps rankings.

Bosque (15-9, 6-1) can clinch the District 3A-5 title with a win Thursday night at Sandia Prep. The Bobcats lead East Mountain (22-2, 5-2) by one game in the district standings. Both those teams should earn high seeds for the 3A state tournament. In fact, East Mountain is No. 3 in the latest MaxPreps rankings, four spots ahead of Bosque, even though they trail the Bobcats in the district standings.
