Pickett has been big for his defensive capabilities and that was surely affective this afternoon. In the early stages, I don’t think anyone decided to shoot the ball over him. But he’s also been very affective on offense. Showing more and more confidence shooting the ball while also using his physical frame to make an impact inside. Made key plates late to secure a 52-47 win.
Highlights
An impressive all-around performance for the 2025 wing. I was really impressed with his movement off the ball to get open and hit shots from all three levels. Miletic also showed incredible passing abilities and picked up a pair of big time assists to lead the Mustangs back late. On the defensive end, he was constantly active on the boards while using his lengthy wingspan to force difficult shots inside and pick up a couple blocks. He led Rolling Meadows back from a double-digit deficit and stuffed the stat sheet. Against St. Laurence, Miletic was undoubtedly the most productive player.
A top 2026 prospect who was crucial for R-B. I was extremely impressed with his confidence shooting the ball. Cnoverted a four-point play in the final two minutes against Palatine and drilled numerous other deep 3’s. Underrated playmaker who showed a tremendous amount of promise in a close loss. Finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds.
He always shines at the Jack Tosh classic. Today was no different. In addition to plenty of offense, he showed tremendous promise on the defensive end. Really nice length and physicality on the low block and came up with five rejections. Was also extremely affective on the boards while forcing a handful of turnovers. Offensively, he still showed range while also finding plenty of separation on the block. Called game with an alley-oop layup at the buzzer and finished with 23 points!
Brought so much energy to the Stagg lineup. Physical SG who knocked down tough shots from deep and created big plays throughout their game against state power Downers Grove North. Defensively, he fights for every ball and forced countless turnovers. Ended the game with six 3-pointers en route to 18 points. He’s a prospect stays confident and disciplined. Coached by the brother of Max Strus.
A valuable presence down low. Showed terrific footwork in the paint and never forced anything. He always found someone open if the shot wasn’t there inside. Took control in the fourth to help take the game out of reach. Even stretched out for a three of his own. Finished with 24 pts.
He’s making a case for Freshman of the Year. Scored an astounding 18 points in the opening half and plays like an experienced senior. Excellent off the catch-and-shoot and knocked down a handful of triples. A stud defensively with great body shape. Forced turnovers leading to easy buckets on the other end. Bolingbrook took care of St. Francis 66-39.
