1.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1171660' first='Carson' last='Johnson'] (Ankeny) - 24.1 points per game

Johnson battled injuries throughout the last few years but is now healthy and performing at an All-State level, leading 4A in scoring, including a 40-point outburst against Waukee Northwest on December 12. A skilled shooter off both the catch and the dribble, he's posting ridiculous efficiency numbers so far this season with 54-51-89 shooting splits.

2.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1945654' first='Idris' last='Thomas'] (Davenport West) - 22.3

A big, physical wing who uses his physical frame to bully his way to the rim for finishes, Thomas has been outstanding this season for the Falcons, scoring at an efficient clip and stepping into the primary scoring role for this group. He's also averaging a team-high 6.5 rebounds and posting 55-45-84 shooting splits.

3.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1288923' first='Luke' last='Winkel'] (Centennial) - 22.1

One of the most dynamic all-around offensive players in the state, Winkel is also averaging 5.0 assists a game for the Jaguars. He has a fantastic mid-range game, gets to the rim seemingly at will, and has really improved as a 3-point shooting threat this season, knocking down 40% of his 3-point attempts so far.

4.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381413' first='Jahlil' last='Manago'] (Waterloo West) - 22.0

Manago is a fantastic athlete in the backcourt who loves to play downhill and attack the rim, both in the halfcourt and in transition. The Wahawks lost a lot of production to graduation from last year's team and needed someone to step into a primary role this year, and Manago has done just that. In addition to his team-high 22 points a game, he also leads the team in rebounding (8.8), assists (3.5), and steals (1.5) while shooting nearly 54% from the floor.

5.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1376689' first='Cole' last='Arnold'] (Council Bluffs Lincoln) - 21.8

A physical and athletic wing, Arnold has been remarkably efficient for the Lynx this season, posting 60-53-83 shooting splits while also pulling down 5.8 rebounds a game. He has the strength to finish through contact and has always had a solid mid-range game, but the improved efficiency from the arc has been a welcome surprise this season.

6.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381422' first='Curtis' last='Stinson Jr'] (Valley) - 20.9

Stinson is a tough, physical guard with a great frame that he uses to finish through contact at the rim. He's one of the smartest players in the state, plays within himself, and is a versatile, dynamic two-way player who does a little bit of everything. He's shooting nearly 51% from the floor and has been a dominant scorer for the Tigers while they wait for running mate Zay Robinson to return from injury.

7.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1587368' first='Bode' last='Goodman'] (Southeast Polk) - 20.6

Goodman is also among the 4A leaders in steals, averaging 3.0 steals a game this season, which has helped contribute to his lofty scoring totals. He's a 6-2 guard who can play downhill and get to the rim, create plays for his teammates off the dribble, and he's a better shooter than his percentages so far this season would indicate, a scary proposition for future opponents.

8.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381412' first='Davis' last='Kern'] (Linn-Mar) - 20.6

At 6-8 and with his ability to stretch the floor, Kern is one of the most dynamic offensive weapons in the state. He has a feathery stroke off the catch, great footwork and touch on the block, and has improved his ability to create off the dribble. In addition to his 20.6 points, Kern is averaging 7.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 3.0 blocks on 61-50-77 splits.

9.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1376678' first='Jacob' last='Williams'] (Senior) - 20.6

The lefty 6-6 forward had a breakout 17U season with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078380' first='Iowa' last='Mavs'] and has been sensational to open his senior season, shooting nearly 68% from the floor and showcasing a little bit of everything in his offensive arsenal. He's a viable shooting threat from deep, outstanding on the glass on both ends of the floor, and provides versatility on the defensive end.

10.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1759932' first='Reed' last='Strohmeyer'] (Hempstead) - 19.8

A 6-3 wing who can score from all three levels, Strohmeyer is asked to do a lot for a Mustangs team that was pretty inexperienced coming into the season, and he has performed admirably, shooting over 46% from the floor and nearly 36% from deep.
