Armonie Franklin Armonie Franklin CG Midfield | 2025 State AL of Midfield excels distributing with over 6 assists per contest to go along with tenacious defense. Jeremiah Williams Jeremiah Williams 6'0" | CG Shades Valley | 2026 State AL , just a sophomore, already fills up box scores for Shades Valley with 4.4 dimes and 2.9 steals a game. And Brewer Welch of Montgomery Academy sits top-ranked in the state with 8 assists per outing while guiding the Eagles to a strong season. These elite young playmakers have proven adept at breaking down defenses and setting up their teammates with their tremendous court vision and passing. If they maintain this high-level distribution, they could each lead their teams on playoff runs this year and beyond.

Junior guard Joshua Evertt has been the catalyst sparking a strong season so far for the Glen Iris Baptist Eagles. The talented 6’0” Evertt is stuffing stat sheets to the tune of 20.1 points, 6 assists and 3.1 steals per game, leading Glen Iris Baptist to a solid 7-2 record. His scoring and distribution has him ranked top 5 in the state in assists while he paces all Alabama Christian School – 2A North players in points and steals. An athletic table-setter blessed with elite court vision, Evertt excels at breaking down defenses and setting up teammates for easy buckets. When needed, he provides instant offense as well with smooth pulls-up jumpers or acrobatic drives to the rim. His coach describes Evertt as their “floor general and most creative playmaker.” If Evertt maintains this statistical dominance against tough division opponents, he could lead Glen Iris Baptist on a playoff run in the ACSC tournament.
Just a sophomore, guard Clyde Walters Clyde Walters 6’6″ | CG Pinson Valley | 2026 State AL has turned heads with his tremendous all-around play for the Pinson Valley Indians this season. The talented 6’6” Walters stuffs the stat sheet nightly to the tune of 16.5 points, 4.5 assists, 7.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. His distribution has him ranked nationally in the top 350 and top 15 in Alabama, while he paces all Class 6A players in assists and rebounds per game. Blessed with elite court vision and size for a guard, Walters excels at breaking down defenses off the dribble and setting up teammates with crisp, pinpoint passes. His coach has praised his “remarkable feel for the game,” utilizing that height to see over defenses and find open shooters. With Walters orchestrating the offense and contributing across the board, the sophomore phenom has Pinson Valley poised to continue their reign atop 6A down the playoff stretch.

Junior guard Armonie Franklin Armonie Franklin CG Midfield | 2025 State AL has emerged as an all-around force for Midfield, making a huge impact with his distribution, defense and rebounding. The talented 5’10” Franklin fills the stat sheet with 9.5 points, 6.3 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 4 steals per game. His assist average has him nationally ranked top 70 while he places top 5 in Alabama and second among 3A players in dimes per contest. Blessed with tremendous court vision and passing instincts, Franklin excels at breaking down defenses and finding open shooters in scoring position. His coach has praised his “preternatural feel for creating offense,” calling him an extension of the coaching staff on the floor. Additionally, Franklin provides stellar perimeter defense, using quick hands and feet to disrupt passing lanes. With Franklin running the show and stuffing stat sheets on both ends, he has Midfield eyeing the top spot in 3A as they gear up for a playoff run.

Just a sophomore, guard Jermiah Williams has made his presence felt as a dynamic floor general for Shades Valley this season. The talented 6’1” Williams fills up stat sheets to the tune of 10.3 points, 4.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 steals per contest. His distribution has him nationally ranked inside the top 450, while he places top 20 in Alabama and second among Class 6A players in assists. Blessed with tremendous court vision and passing ability, Williams thrives at breaking down defenses and setting up easy baskets for teammates. His coach has praised his “uncanny passing instincts,” noting how Williams keeps all his weapons involved and puts them in prime scoring positions. Whether it’s dropping dimes off drives or kicking out to open shooters, Williams has the offense humming. With their promising young guard at the controls, Shades Valley has the pieces to make playoff noise for years to come.

The talented 5’10” Welch fills up stat sheets with 12.2 points, 8 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 4 steals per contest for the 9-2 Eagles. His 8 assists per game rank Welch 11th nationally, tops in the state of Alabama, and number one among all Class 3A players. With elite handles and court vision, Welch thrives at breaking down defenses and creating easy scoring chances for teammates. His coach calls him a “true point guard prodigy” for the way he constantly puts teammates in prime positions to succeed. Whether driving and dishing pinpoint passes or kicking out to open shooters, Welch’s distribution has Montgomery Academy’s offense clicking on all cylinders. If this young phenom keeps up this prolific pace, he could guide the Eagles on a deep playoff run over the next few seasons.
