Team 3 at the Prep Hoops Georgia Sophomore ID Camp had a strong mix of guards, wings, and forwards who brought different traits to the floor. This group gave evaluators plenty to track, from shot-making and paint pressure to physical slashing, defensive flashes, and frontcourt activity. Some players stood out with scoring confidence, others with feel, motor, or positional tools, but the common thread was that each prospect showed something that can translate as their roles continue to grow.

Dylan is a combo guard who impacted the game with his energy, perimeter shot-making, and contagious competitiveness. He gave his team in both 3v3 and 5v5 perimeter activity and the ability to space the floor with the trey ball. He is a small guard who showed that he can change possessions without needing many touches. As he continues to improve his handles, create cleaner paint touches off the dribble, and show he can make reads when teams run him off the line will help to elevate his stock

Eric is a lefty off guard who pays with pace, shooting value, and passing feel. He brings shot-making value, enough three ball productivity to keep defenders honest, and energy that carries into winning possessions. Despite being listed as a shooting guard he spent time on ball and pushing the rock in transition. He played both ends and was very instinctive playing the passing lanes. He showed a budding IQ, but still has to room to grow into a more consistent decision-maker in traffic. I was impressed that he knows how to turn his pace into paint touches, open threes for teammates, and simple passes that help the rhythm of a possession.

Owen is a combo guard with the ability to make shots, touch the paint, and help get the offense organized. He has a floater game, can create off the bounce, and uses his body to make plays in traffic. His value rises when he is getting downhill under control, using touch instead of forcing tough finishes, and making the next right read once the defense reacts. What gives Owen more value is that he also showed flashes on the ball defensively. He has some toughness to him, and when that defensive effort matches the offensive confidence, he becomes more than just a shot-maker. The next step is consistency with the handle and decision-making. If he can keep turning those paint touches and scoring flashes into clean, repeatable possessions, he becomes a guard coaches can trust in different game situations.

Isaiah is a combo guard who showed enough perimeter game to force defenders to have to play him for the bunce as well as the midi. He showed his ability to get to his spots and convert when the defense gives him space.

I would have liked to have seen Isaiah be more assertive. He has the skill to be able to impact more possessions with purpose, and to be able to get to his spots without forcing the action. The ability is there, but he has to step and leave it all out on the floor.

Olu is a combo guard who can put pressure on the rim as he showed the ability to get downhill, attack the cup, and create offense off the bounce for himself and his teammates. When he is playing with pace and attacking open space the best version of Olu at this stage is clearly seen. The biggest development piece is strength as it is imperative that he keeps adding physicality so he can play through bodies, finish with more force, and hold his ground on both ends.

Colin is a combo guard who plays with craft off the bounce and when finishing. He showed a nice floater with touch, shot-making ability, and the ability to use his creative ability to distribute the rock to teammates he creates open. He showed patience with the ball and made plays as both a scorer and passer. He does not have to rush to be effective, and that poise helps him get to his spots while still keeping teammates involved.

He also showed two-way toughness and communication defensively, which adds to his ability to impact the game. The foundation is there, and can be built upon, as he plays with skill, pace, and a good understanding of the game.

Jake is a wing who brings size, activity, and possession value. He showed he can rebound, make hustle plays, and use his body to get downhill when space is available. He is at his best right now when he is running the floor, attacking gaps, getting on the glass, and making plays that do not require the offense to be built around him. His perimeter shooting is worth tracking, and his release has to speed up for his outside shooting to translate against better contests. If he can clean that up, the rest of his game becomes easier because defenders will have to close harder, and he showed that he could be productive attacking off the bounce.

Christopher is a versatile wing who provides rim pressure, transition playmaking, and finishing ability. He was patient with the ball, created off the bounce, drew fouls, finished around the rim, and made tough shots. The athleticism and slashing ability jump out, but the open-floor playmaking makes his upside intriguing. He proved that he can be a real problem when he keeps the game simple by attacking with purpose, drawing help, and making the easy play. He has the physical tools to put pressure on the defense and create free-throw opportunities.

Keelyn is a strong wing who was very aggressive throughout the day. He was at his best when he was knifing his way to the cup and looking to put pressure on the rim. He plays through contact as he showed physical drives, touch in the paint, floater ability, and a willingness to attack at any point in the possession. He is a tough iso scorer with positional size and brings self-creation to the floor. When Keelyn attacks with balance, he is difficult to keep out of the paint. He has a good feel of knowing when to bully his way to the rim, when to use touch, and when to get up off the rock. If he keeps growing as a decision-maker, along with his ability to create offense, and bring physicality to the floor look for Keelyn to have a season that will catch many eyes.
