Lorenzo Shields Lorenzo Shields 6'2" | PG Simeon | 2025 State IL (Simeon)
Shields is a long and rangy junior guard that has the chance to make a big step forward as a junior. Slick ball handler that makes plays in the open floor with the rock in his hands. Intriguing prospect because he can stuff the stat sheet like he did in this game going for 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 dimes, and 2 steals.
Jaylen Ingram (Hillcrest)
Ingram has been an intriguing prospect for a while now. The power forward has good length and is starting to add strength on to his frame. Runs the floor hard for a big man, snatches boards in traffic scoring second chance buckets, and knows how to use his quick twitchness around the rim. Against Simeon he went for 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Alexander Vincent Alexander Vincent 6'8" | C OPRF | 2025 State IL (OPRF)
Vincent had one of the best showings we had seen from him in his young career. The true five man has legit size and strength inside. Played with physicality garnering deep post position and finishing well around the rim throughout the game. Right handed hook shots, put backs, seals, and rebounded well. He had 12 points and 8 rebounds in the game against rival Fenwick.
Ty Macariola Ty Macariola 6'1" | SG Fenwick | 2025 State IL (Fenwick)
The Fenwick junior shooting guard had a huge game on Friday night against OPRF knocking in shots, but it was his ability to get to the foul line where he went 13-13 that was what took his team over the top in that game. Tough kid that can shoot it and get to the line! He had 26 points (6-10 FG).
Dalton Scantlebury Dalton Scantlebury 6'8" | PF Lane Tech | 2025 State IL (Lane Tech)
Scantlebury has been a PHI favorite for a while. He is a five man that can play inside and out. Continued to add strength which he uses to anchor down low scoring on seals and convert and-1s. His ability to rebound on the offensive end is one of the best in the state. Grabbed seven offensive rebounds in this contest. Defensively he protects the rim as a shot blocker. Made the only three he took. Big stat line of 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
JT Pettigrew JT Pettigrew 6'8" | C Bolingbrook | 2025 State IL (Bolingbrook)
Really like what we saw out of Pettigrew in their game against Warren. The big man has slimmed down which has greatly improved his mobility. Worked well in the pick/roll, finished out of the dunker spot, and sealed on the block. High pointed rebounds and can even handle a little off a defensive rebound. Pettigrew went for 18 points (6-13 FG), 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Phoenix Gill Phoenix Gill 6'3" | SG St. Ignatius | 2025 State #72 Nation IL (St. Ignatius)
The top ranked junior in the state is the clear top option for St. Ignatius. In their game against Riverside Brookfield it wasn’t his most efficient outing shooting 8-23 from the field, but you can see all the skills that make him so intriguing at the next level. He is aggressive and smart as an all-around player. Good looking jumper, sweeping layups at the rim, and is a solid passer. Finished with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
Damajay Richardson Damajay Richardson 5'11" | PG Whitney Young | 2025 State IL (Whitney Young)
Whitney Young got behind huge in the first half. They came back strong in the second half only losing by a basket to Cardinal Ritter. A big reason for the comeback was Richardson setting the tone. Strong and compact combo guard that really gets after it on the defensive end and loves to attack downhill. He had 15 points and 3 steals.
Antonio Munoz Antonio Munoz 6'6" | SF Whitney Young | 2025 State #194 Nation IL (Whitney Young)
Munoz is a top 5 prospect in the state’s junior class. He didn’t look like it in the first half at CEC, but absolutely did in the second half. Elite level athlete that just let it rip showing it off swatting shots, getting on the glass, and throwing down dunks in the open floor. Also hit a tough three point shot to cut Ritter’s lead to a point late. He had 12 points (4-10 FG), 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
