Although Brockton lost a tough game to Windsor, Nwosu shined as a prospect with unlimited long-term potential. Only a sophomore, the 6’8″ forward showcased an advanced inside-out skillset that complimented his physical tools. Given his ability to knock down shots from the perimeter, as well as make plays off the bounce, he profiles as a stretch forward at the next level. Defensively, he showed good timing as a shot blocker, rebounded above the rim, and moved his feet well when switched onto guards. Nwosu should be a fun prospect to track over the next few years and has undeniable Division I potential.
Sanders and his Eagle Academy teammates won the game of the day in thrilling fashion. A physically imposing guard, Sanders stood out for the ways in which he impacted the game outside of the scoring column. He’s a solid athlete who does a great job using his strength to his advantage on the defensive end. He rebounds in traffic and competes for every loose ball. Offensively, he has good floor vision, makes solid reads in ball screens, and is a willing ball mover. Sanders already holds an offer from Iona, and I wouldn’t expect that to be the last one his receives this winter.
Mangok Lok
Mangok Lok
Lok, an ultra bouncy wing/forward, had the crowd on their feet on more than one occasion. He impressed as a guy who could grab a defensive rebound and then initiate offense in transition. With long strides, a quick first step, and next level athleticism, he was able to get to the rim whenever he wanted. He knocked down two 3’s in a row in the second half and while his release looked unconventional, his shot went in more often than not. His length stood out on defense, where he was active in passing lanes and seemed to get a deflection on every possession. He’s a definite Division I prospect and reportedly already holds an offer from LIU.

Rogers impressed in a losing effort as an ultra competitive wing that does whatever it takes to win. While playing out of position as a center, Rogers showed that he can guard any position. He has great length, is a solid athlete, and plays hard every posession. Offensively, he doesn’t force the issue and proved to be a willing ball mover and a good off-ball cutter. He proved more than capable of being a secondary-ball handler and often brought the ball up the floor for Burke. When he did look to score, he was able to get to the rim and finish with either hand.
Jaeden Roberts
Jaeden Roberts
Roberts, the reigning Boston City League Player of the Year, is a dynamic, score-first, combo-guard that left everything he had on the floor. Offensively, he’s wired to score and seemingly has the ball on a string in the half-court. The lefty did a great job of creating space with the bounce and was able to get his shot off with even the smallest window of opportunity. He changes pace well and proved to be a crafty scorer around the rim. He was aggresive defensively and did a good job of anticipating when to jump passing lanes for easy steals.
Shi’s injury riddled Brookline team lost the nightcap to BC High, but he was able to stand out on both ends of the floor. A modern stretch five, Shi is not afraid to get in the paint and mix it up, finishing through contact on multiple occasions. He’s comfortable handing the ball on the perimeter and proved to be a threat shooting the ball from behind the arc. Defensively, Shi is a physical post presence that rebounds above the rim and contests every shot in the paint.
Highlights
Civello, a Colby College commit, showed why he should be a perfect fit with the Mules at the next level. Another stretch five that is a legit 6’10”, Civello has a fluid stroke from behind the arc and made multiples 3’s in each half of this game. He has deep range and has to be accounted for in transition, especially as a trailer. He can finish with either hand in the post, but needs to add strength and commit to playing through contact. Defensively, he plays with a bit of an edge, is vocal, and can is a solid rim protector.
