It’s been a good class for a long time and a ton of these players will be making an impact in college over the course of their careers. Let’s take a look at the top power forwards in this latest rankings update. This does not include any players who were in the top 10 in the class.
Mabe is a versatile defender and one of the best rim protectors in the class. His offensive numbers continue to improve year over year and Jordan is currently averaging 18.5 points per game on 49% shooting. Hopefully he becomes a more active rebounder and elevates his game to the next level.
Highlights
Rice is a blue collar worker who averages a double double while getting limited touches. One of the more efficient scorers in the class, Lawson has started to stretch his game past the three point line and could eventually become more of a big wing at the college level.
Highlights
Another prospect who is transitioning out to the wing, Ellis is one of the more valuable players in the 12th region as he does a whole lot for Mercer County on a nightly basis. Shooting an absurd 68% from the field while averaging a double-double, Trevor has one of the best motors in the class.
Highlights
Jaden has seen a little bit of a dip in his three point shooting this season but he remains one of the most effective “big” scorers in the 25 class. Stewart is a big stretch forward who is more comfortable putting the ball on the floor than most players on this list.
Waller is a new name in the rankings and has the potential to be a scholarship level forward when he gets to college. A big body who is comfortable stretching out to the three point line, Braden is a sleeper prospect out of western Kentucky and has the potential to really impress if he plays with a good AAU program this summer.
