About Braden
Expert Analysis
Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Hoops Scout
Braden is not a true post as he can comfortably play both inside and out on the offensive end and is capable of guarding multiple positions. Waller has a great motor and has shown the ability to be a pretty good playmaker with size on offense. Long term, Braden has upside as a face up 4 man at the college level.

Braden is a load on the low block but he’s also capable of stepping out and attacking off the drive or knocking down an open 3. With his size and strength, Waller is a mismatch issue for district opponents Mayfield and Ballard Memorial. You can count on Graves keeping games in the halfcourt but Braden thrives in those situations.

Waller is a very effective inside/out forward with a good motor who should be a target for multiple schools in Kentucky and border states. A high academic prospect, I would be all over Braden if I were at a Transy, Centre or Asbury type of school. A player who gets stuff done!

, is an underappreciated talent thanks to his geographical location. Living in Region 1, it’s easy to overlook Braden but he has shown versatility as a back to the basket forward as well as the ability to step out and knock down threes.

Thanks to geography, not many folks outside of the first region are familiar with Braden but he’s a talented 4 man who can score both inside and out. Waller is an all region type of talent for Graves County and would be a nice piece for a high academic school to add to the roster.

Waller is a new name in the rankings and has the potential to be a scholarship level forward when he gets to college. A big body who is comfortable stretching out to the three point line, Braden is a sleeper prospect out of western Kentucky and has the potential to really impress if he plays with a good AAU program this summer.

Another player who has been unranked until now, Braden starts in the rankings at 75th overall. Braden is a big bodied forward who can score inside and out and looks the part of a future scholarship level player. Averaging 12 points and 6 rebounds per game, Braden is overlooked in Region 1 but is a talented forward.

A new name on the radar after Saturday, Waller is a good sized 3/4 who is comfortable stepping out and making shots or playing with his back to the basket on the block. Coming off a Sophomore season where he averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds for Graves, he has some momentum going into the season and will hopefully be allowed to shoot some threes after he was one of the better “big” shooters on Saturday.
