Dwayne “DJay” Snead Jr, 6’1 PG Pennington
Snead Jr has had a good start to the season and is looking to continue his strong play. The 6’1 lefty has a quick first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Snead Jr is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He has the ability to play off the ball as well and uses his long arms to get deflections on defense. Snead Jr is a lanky, lead guard prospect, who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the 2023-24 season.
Elijah Brown Elijah Brown 6'4" | SG Life Center Academy | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 SG Life Center Academy
Brown has emerged as the go-to guy for the Warriors as he already has three 20-point games this season. The 6’4 guard attacks the basket strong as he can elevate over the top for dunks and finishes nicely around the rim. Brown doesn’t get rattled by on-ball pressure and rises up nicely on his jumper. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on defense. Brown should continue his scoring prowess this season with his ability to score inside and out.
Brendan Oliver Brendan Oliver 6'6" | SG Blair Academy | 2025 State NJ , 6’6 SG Blair Academy
Oliver also has the potential to play on the wing, making him an intriguing prospect to watch. The 6’6 guard has a good release on his jumper and wastes little motion in his shot. Oliver is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the rim. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated rebounder. Oliver is a long guard prospect who has the potential to have a strong 2023-24 season for the Buccaneers.
AJ Mickens AJ Mickens 6'4" | SG Hun | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 SG Hun
Mickens has the ability to play on and off the ball, which will help his development in a big way this season. The 6’4 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and get to the rim. Mickens uses his size to see over his defender and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. He moves his feet on the defensive end and moves well without the ball in his hands. Mickens will get the opportunity to play with the ball in his hands this season, which will help his stock in a big way.
Jaysean Williams Jaysean Williams 5'10" | PG Patrick School | 2025 State NJ , 5’10 PG Patrick School
Williams is a dynamic lead guard prospect who should put it on display this season for the Celtics. The 5’10 guard has a tight handle and a lightning quick first step as defenders struggle to stay in front of him. Williams finishes in a variety of ways around the basket and make opponents pay for giving him space from behind the arc. He uses his quick hands to get deflections and pushes the pace in transition. Williams is electric with the ball in his hands and will make plays throughout the course of the season for the Patrick School.
