2024 Rankings Update: Players on the rise

It was known that Berry has a great deep shot but this year he has been even more impressive this season. His lighting quick release allows him to get shots off before defenders are able to close out on him. He is electric on defense too, always going 100% and playing with a ton of energy. He's a great team leader and finds his teammates often when they are open. His vision is elite, as he can easily drop 7+ assists any given night. He's an offensive threat with the ball in his hands too. He gets to the bucket smoothly with both hands and has a steady jump-shot. He handles the ball well and gets to his midrange shots smoothly. He has improved quite a bit since last season, having a much more complete overall game. He has taken over the leadership role for the team and has done an amazing job at helping the younger guys. His game goes under the radar a bit with all the talent the Lions have but, Elsner is the real deal. He facilitates the offense extremely well and is closing in on the all time assists record for Lynden HS.
