Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Hoops Scout
Ty has come into his role with his squad very nicely. He’s a great team leader and finds his teammates often when they are open. His vision is elite, as he can easily drop 7+ assists any given night. He’s an offensive threat with the ball in his hands too. He gets to the bucket smoothly with both hands and has a steady jump-shot. Ty’s stock is rising every game this season as he keeps showing improvement.

The Everett guard had a nice summer shooting the ball and has continued to be a threat from deep this season. He’s averaging 12 points 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists so far and can fill either guard spot effectively. What’s really impressed me this far into the year is his body control on his drives. He made a nice dish while hanging in the air on a drive against Cedarcrest and found a wide-open teammate on the other side of the rim for an easy two. His ability to switch things up while attacking the hoop and be able to act on late reads makes him a tough guard when he gets into paint.
