Tiki Cowans – 6’7 2025 Center – Edmond Santa Fe – The Wolves are looking for a bounce back season with a balanced roster and their long armed junior post player could play an important part as a defensive pivot. In one contest he covered good ground with a weakside block. He’s still working on strength and fluidity on the offensive end but one two handed slam hinted at what he could become in a few months as a finisher around the rim.
Alvin Dorsey, 6’6 2026, Center – Westmoore – Dorsey looked trim and ready to provide an extra dimension as a physical post player for the Jaguars. He was smooth on one post up finish as he spun away from an attempted charge and scored an easy two.
Jamarie Dubose Jamarie Dubose 6'5" | SF John Marshall | 2026 State OK , 6’4 2026 Wing-Forward, John Marshall – A high motor athlete for the Bears, he was active on the glass, especially on the offensive end. It looked like he could hit his head on the rim on some of his offensive rebound attempts. He also finished well around the basket, and could be a dynamic roll man in pick and roll situations.
Korbin Gunn Korbin Gunn 6'1" | PG Union | 2025 State OK – 6’0 2025 Guard, Union – The floor general should draw the attention from college coaches for proficiency at feeding the bigs for the Redhawks. He ran savvy pick and rolls, rewarded his forwards for running the floor with great vision in transition and even got into the lane and slipped nifty passes through traffic to create great looks for his teammates.
Blake Johnson Blake Johnson 6'6" | PF Sand Springs | 2025 State OK – 6’6 2025 Forward, Sand Springs – The Sandite junior was active as a rebounder and hustle player but really caught the eye with a couple good face up takes. Twice he read the right mismatch on a defender, and looked smooth attacking off the the dribble and finishing at the rim. Sand Springs will have a chance to make some noise in 6A and the development of the junior would be a big reason why.
Jaden Johnson – 6’1 2025 Guard, Del City – Johnson is set for a big role on a new look Del City team and he looks to fit perfectly into the winning culture that has been built on Sunnylane road. He got into the paint to score himself or feed his teammates. While also being competitive on the defensive end by playing passing lanes and harassing ball handlers. The junior lead guard should soon become a popular name as Del City attempts to remain among the top programs in 5A.
Grant Loper Grant Loper 6'2" | PG Westmoore | 2025 State OK – 6’1 2025 Guard, Westmoore – The rising junior passed an important test when he matched up with an athletic and aggressive Booker T Washington squad and rarely looked bothered. One drive in particular stood out when he broke the press himself, kept the defender on his hip to gain separation then exploded to the rim and avoided the help defense for a good finish.
Jayden Hopkins Jayden Hopkins 6'1" | PG Carl Albert | 2026 State OK – 6’2 2026 Guard, Carl Albert – The breakout continues to look likely for the electric guard. From stronger finishing through contact or even punching it for a slam in transition, Hopkins looked great. He even continued to be disruptive on defense with his long arms and making good reads in transition.
Quincy Hopkins Quincy Hopkins 6'3" | SF Carl Albert | 2024 State OK – 6’3 2024 Wing, Carl Albert – Hopkins was a terror on the offensive end in an early morning contest. His jumper looked smooth in the mid-range and from three, and he had a classic Hopkins trademark unstoppable looking transition finish. One issue, the very next defensive possession following his strong take, he played matador defense on the opposing end, giving the two points right back. With his frame and athleticism, the senior should be among the better defenders in the state. And with the Titans chasing a 5A Gold Ball, the bar is high for Hopkins on both ends of the court.
Tyson Pogi Tyson Pogi 5'11" | PG Mustang | 2027 State OK – 6’0 2027 Guard, Mustang – Only a week removed from the gridiron and Pogi already looks ready for the speed of the varsity level. He had the ball on a string and rarely looked uncomfortable against older competition. His jumper wasn’t falling as the rate that was expected, but the form is textbook and smooth. It’s early days, but the QB-Lead Guard has good odds to be able to a strong recruit in both sports.
