<p>In 49 states it is just basketball...but this is Indiana! Indiana High School Basketball made its triumphant return on Tuesday evening with 87 games played across the state. <li>In the game that I attended on Tuesday night Zionsville defeated Sectional 8 rival Carmel 57-40. The Eagles built an early lead and never looked back. 6'6" junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1525678' first='Maguire' last='Mitchell'] was the star of the evening scoring 29 points while junior guard Jackson Tielker added 13 points including three three-pointers in the first quarter that got Zionsville rolling. Mitchell dominated off of the bounce driving it right aggressively and playing above the rim at the end of his drives. He also knocked in a trio of three-pointers on the evening.</li>

<li>After going 33-0 and winning the Class 4A state championship a year ago, Ben Davis fell on opening night to Fishers 74-61.
