The Hawks and the Spuds started practice this past Monday, they had tryouts early in the week, completed their cuts before Thanksgiving, and had a practice/scrimmage today.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For basketball fans, this is a lovely time of year. Sure, it is nothing like "playoff time" but it is the season of optimism and everyone's hopes are high! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During the first hour of the day, the teams practiced together and mainly did transition/fast break drills &amp; situations. After that, the officials showed up, and the scrimmages started.
