The ultimate bucket getter, Swinney poured in 43 points on Tuesday in his teams tight loss to Coastal Christian, and he continues to show why he’s a scholarship level player. Impressive burst and change of direction ability highlights his offensive game, as he can shoot and score the ball well when he uses it to get space to get his shots off. Able to facilitate too when defenses really crowd and try and disrupt his game. However, he doesn’t chuck or take too many crazy shots, he’s just solid and does well with his opportunities, which is how he continues to be a great scorer.
Boyce has always been a good shooter, but he has been on fire to start the year. He knocked down 12 threes in two games this week, and averaged 20 PPG. His team is 3-0 in large part due to his marksmanship. He’s got a quick release, knows how to get his shot off with consistency, and is riding a wave of confidence that most elite shooters have. If you see one go down, the rim looks bigger, and it certainly seems like Boyce is feeling that way. He should be a target for lots of schools with his senior year off to a good start.

Bush has been an integral cog for BCA in their surprise 4-0 start to the season, with a marquee win over Greensboro Day. He’s averaged 16 PPG in three wins this week, and been a force on the glass as well. He plays incredibly hard and has a good ability to create his own shot in and around the paint on the offensive end. With his relentless work ethic and motor, he should continue to out-tough people and get his buckets. We’ll keep an eye on him as the season continues.
This is a kid who produced on the varsity level in spurts last year, but really looks like a go-to guy already as a freshman. Still coming along physically but is not afraid of taking on older and stronger competition. He’s a talented scorer who attacks the rim with aggression and knows how to be crafty enough to get to the line. Also able to knock down the 3 point shot when left open and still getting better at it on a varsity stage. A really intriguing name to keep track of from the 919.
White is a name that should continue to get traction as a point guard for D2 and D3 schools with his reclass to 2025 and his all-around skillset. He’s a strong-bodied guard who has great vision and IQ and runs the show for his group. He may not have gaudy scoring numbers, but he works hard to lead his group, and facilitates efficiently. He rebounds the ball extremely well for his size, sticking his nose in and fighting hard. He also had 5 steals in their win against NRCA this weekend, showcasing a nose for the ball on defense as well.
