<p>On Friday, November 3rd I attended the annual <strong>AZ Compass Prep Classic </strong>and watched six games.</p>

<p>A newcomer is a good sized shooting guard who is a catch and shoot three point sniper with a quicker release. His size allows him to get into the lane and uses his gifts on defense to play the passing lanes. One of the better shooters in the state moved in from Georgia. </p>

<p>The <strong>Old Dominion</strong> commit is a broad shouldered post player with high upside. He has an elite motor to rebound and challenges shots at the rim. He gets off the floor quickly to throw it down and is a good runner. </p>

<p>The <strong>San Diego State</strong> commit is a top of the food chain shot blocker who you will often see do the chase down block. He can drop step into a dunk and closes out to shooters impressively. </p>

<p>The <strong>ASU </strong>commit is an elite sized wing forward who can hit the catch three with a very quick release. He has a tighter handle in close spaces and changes speeds well and plays with a huge IQ. He will rebound and push it and block shots in his area. </p>

<p>The <strong>New Mexico</strong> commit is a skilled big man to the three. He can pull-up from mid-range and made multiple clutch shots down the stretch from the perimeter. He rebounds well and makes good reads. </p>

<p>A strong framed forward who is skilled and tough. He can take it straight into the post players and score or get fouled. His best skill is his catch shooting. He defends in the post well and he often cashes in his free throws. </p>

<p>A live bodied power forward plays with good energy. He can shoot it from mid-range and he can put it on the floor and create his offense to score. He rebounds well in and out of his area. The family is from Idaho. </p>

<p>The <strong>Southern Oregon</strong> commit runs the Skyline Prep team to a tee. He moves the ball, takes care of the rock and can get to the basket with a burst of speed. </p>

<p>A bouncy power forward with a live body. He throws it down with ease and uses his bounce to rebound and block shots plus runs the floor and scores it near the basket. </p>
