The underrecruited big man out of JL Chambers High is off to a fast start as they’re 2-0 on the young season. He’s averaging a double-double already with 18.0 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 2.5 APG and 1.5 BPG on 58 percent shooting from the field so far. Colleges in need of a big man presence would be wise to get eyes on him soon!
Crudup had himself a strong outing on Saturday at the HoopState Hoopsgiving as he led the Southern Wake Academy Lions to a marquee victory over defending state champs, Wilson Prep Academy. He finished with 32 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals on 12-of-19 shooting from the floor as he continues his ascent up the unsigned senior ranks. He’s quietly showing his growth at the lead guard role. LM/MM schools and DII programs would be wise to get eyes on him.
Highlights
Perry is a big reason for Victory Christian Center’s surprise 7-1 start to the 2023-24 season. He’s producing 8.8 PPG, 3.5 APG and 2.0 SPG in the backcourt to set quite the tone for the Kings in the Charlotte area as they look to make a splash in the NCISAA. He’s a LM/DII prospect in the making the college coaches would be wise to get eyes on.
Highlights
Ardrey Kell High came up slightly short in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge but Delani Hammonds Delani Hammonds 6’0″ | CG Ardrey Kell | 2024 State NC was on his A-game! He finished with 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting (3-of-3 from behind the arc) along with seven assists, six rebounds and three steals to pace the backcourt for the Knights. He’s a shifty floor general that colleges in the region need to get eyes on this season given his impact in the backcourt.
Big man Makoi Mabor Makoi Mabor 6’11” | C Gaston Christian | 2024 State NC is coming into his own in the Gaston Christian frontcourt with his size/skills around the painted area. He’s putting up 15.8 PPG, 9.8 RPG and 1.8 BPG as he continues to show off his growth on both ends of the floor. DI and DII programs would be wise to get eyes on him as the Eagles kick off their season.
Koebbe is one of the more underrated rebounders in the class as he’s currently snagging 11.0 RPG to go along with 21.0 PPG, 2.8 APG and 2.0 SPG to lead Living Water Christian to their current record of 3-1. He plays with a ton of energy no matter what role he’s given and continues to rack up offers from DII and DIII programs as his high school career wraps up.
