Braketa has been consistent all summer, particularly effectively spacing the floor while growing a playmaker with the ball. Showing value getting big versus smaller guards, the sophomore has shown a willingness to invite contact, even using it against the opponents to leverage position. Proving to be an effective shotmaker out of the mid-range and three point arc. Comfortable playing within a fast pace with numerous off-ball screens, Braketa does a great job defending away from the ball. Active flying around screens to contest shots, the guard should be a formidable opponent this season. There are few guards as effective away from the ball as this guard.
Highlights
Quartaro has shown upside as a perimeter shooter, effective off the catch or while stepping into the shot off movement. Especially valuable along the perimeter, the guard is a willing shooter even with a contest coming. Another area Quartaro has remained a threat is off the closeout, capable of pumping and driving for ambidextrous finishes at the rim. They show capabilities utilizing a couple dribble moves to free up space while on the attack downhill. Their progression as a complementary playmaker will be worth following over the coming seasons, already providing a dependable baseline from distance.

Kirkland showed out at his team’s 15U appearance for the final club team event in the box state. Rocking Pueblo County, Kirkland provided immense value handling the ball and making himself impactful passing to shotmakers. Capable of attacking downhill with pace, the guard does a great job keeping his eyes up for the next play. Kirkland showed additional value moving proactively off-ball, finding holes in the floor to be a threat off-ball.

Charles should be an impactful floor spacer and willing defender for Grandview, featuring a new look program. The guard does an excellent job of surveying the floor to create open space along the perimeter, staying ready off the catch. Effective through a contest, the guard looks to be a player we see plenty of throughout his season with this varsity group. Defensively, the guard keeps his eyes peeled while off the ball, active jumping passing lanes for steals and deflections. At the point of attack, Charles is fairly quick, capable of staying in front with a wide variety of high school opponents. His impact as an off-ball disruptor will be interesting, as part of a very new look Grandview roster.
Highlights
Gray is an efficient complementary scorer, efficient from beyond the arc. Possessing a quick jumper off the catch, the guard can knock down spot-up attempts or flow into the shot from weak side actions. Likely a valuable floor spacer for a new look Fossil Ridge program, keeping tabs on Gray’s impact spacing the floor. Defensively, the guard is already fairly strong, effectively taking bumps and maintaining his balance versus backcourt opponents. His progression as a ball handler over the coming seasons will be intriguing, given his notable gravity beyond the arc.
