Widemon a confident guard with a good set of handles, and passing to create shots on the move for himself and others. He has good speed getting up the court running or dribbling. He’ll pull-up for transition 3’s in rhythm, use his handle to attack the paint. He can play on both ends at a good pace. He’s a conditioned athlete.
He’s a prospect we’re going to have to see more of. The 6’0 Tatum transferred from Mt.Diablo to Ygnacio Valley along with his 17.8 ppg last season. He’s a versatile combo guard with slick handles, moves, along with speed to generate buckets. He gets into the paint often, has good court vision, a willing passer.
He’s a big G/F who moves and handles the ball along the perimeter and in transition good. He’s shown himself to be a passer who can initiate working in the half-court. He has the ability to use his dribble on drives into the paint, showing balance and finishing off one or two feet. He has a decent mid-range jumper. He’ll help rebound.
Early can be productive on both ends of the court. He’s brings good movement and foot speed. He’s active on the defense, hounding ball handlers, and covering ground to be a good help defender. He boxes out, gets rebounds, and shows good passing skills. He has the handles and speed to go by defenders and challenge bigs in the paint.
He’s a quality shooting guard. He’s in constant motion, a good slasher, he’s shot ready with a quick release. He’s a threat to knock down 3’s in the corners. He has good shot selection, a ball mover, he’ll find cutters to the basket with the extra pass if he doesn’t have a good look. Standing 6’3 he has good length to challenge, and close out on shooters.
He’s an athlete G/W with an improving skill set. He handles well enough to get to the basket, he’s strong with good hops to challenge big men at the rim. He doesn’t shy away from contact, he goes hard to the basket in transition, if he can’t throw it down he’ll finish in other ways. He can hit open 3’s. He can defend and help rebound as a guard.
The 6’7 forward is improving as a prospect. He played up against quality competition, and players his size or taller. He’s got work to do, but he is giving good effort. He’s using his length and moving better in the post area going after rebounds, defending, and scoring. He’s a good passer, he stepped out and hit a few 3’s.
He’s one of the more polished point guard under 6’0. He has the skills to properly run the offense in half-court. He handles, has good vision. He can penetrate the paint, get the big to commit. He can float it in or hit the paint jumper. He’s a threat to knock down 3’s if left unattended, off the dribble, in transition, or along the perimeter.
Highlights
Rease has taken his game up a notch. He’s playing with good energy and effort. He’s improved his guard skills, handling, passing and running the court. He’s been putting points on the board aggressively attacking the basket. He can hit the open 3. His play on the defensive side of the ball is improved. He’ll take a few charges.
He’s a 6’5 guard who’ll play at Monterey Trail this season after transferring from McClatchy where he averaged 11 ppg. He’ll add size, depth, and more scoring to a quality squad. He can hit the short range jumper off the dribble, he has 3pt range, and can defend multiple positions out on the perimeter.
E Conley is working under the radar. He’s a solid W/F standing 6’3. He’s had a good spring and summer, with improved ball handling to attack the rim off the dribble, finish with dunks in transition, and drop a few 3’s setting up in the corners. He’s going after rebounds, and working to defend his position.
He’s a quality point guard with good pace and feel for the game. He has excellent court vision and passing. He’s a pass first type of guard. He does a good job of looking and probing along the perimeter, looking for shooters, cutters, and feeding the post. He has a good short range jumper he can hit, he gets into get into the paint. He’ll shoot open 3’s.
