LONG BEACH — We were at McBride high school Saturday and Sunday for another installment of Dinos Trigonis' Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph camp which featured many of the best first and second-year prospects in the Western U.S. The event featured 120-plus campers with Top 60 and Top 30 games on Sunday. Below we take a closer look at the guards who stood out in the Top 60 game.

Dut (pictured) blended his natural true point guard feel with his ability to turn on his versatile scoring arsenal when he wanted to. The 6-foot-1 sophomore - now in Arizona by way of Canada - is both a smooth and explosive athlete with the ball on a string and the ability to go from stop to start which led to countless blow-by's and paint touches. Dut was at his best when using a ball screen where he punished defenders with off dribble threes when they went under but got to the cup and scored with ease when they went over the screen.

Brown was one of the better perimeter scorers we saw on the weekend as the savvy left-handed guard thrived in isolation settings. He used a shifty handle to create space from defenders and dribbled himself into smooth off-bounce threes and mid-range jumpers. Brown was confident when hunting his spots off the dribble and did a great job of drawing contact to get to the free throw line. He finished with a game-high 16 points, including 6-for-6 from the free throw line while leading his team to a win.

Wang was one of the most effective defenders in this camp regardless of class as his speed, quickness and constantly-active hands allowed him to pressure, contain and speed up ball-handlers into turnovers. The pesky 5-foot-5 point guard hunted steals, dove on the floor for loose balls and turned the opponents mistakes into transition offense for himself and his teammates. Wang only scored five points in the Top 60 game but added three steals and three assists.

Huey's statistical output don't tell the whole story of how effective he was as a true point guard. The 5-foot-11 sophomore out of Northern California played with great pace and control which led to high IQ decision-making when creating for himself and teammates. Huey didn't force bad shots, played off of two feet in the lane to give himself options and brought a pass-first approach to a settings that often breeds selfish play.

Ogletree was named Co-MVP of the Top 60 game and what was so impressive about his performance was his impact without being a ball dominant scorer. The 6-foot-3 off-guard was an active and high motor lane filler in transition who slashed and cut his way to easy buckets at the rim. Ogletree flashed his quick vertical leaping ability to beat rim protectors to the basket, scored 15 points on 7-for-12 from the field, and pulled down four rebounds.

Ferraioli proved to be a hard-nosed and tough-minded two-way performer who did a little bit of everything to impact the game. Offensively, the 6-foot-1 combo guard can really elevate into his pull-up jumper and has a combination of strength, physicality and athleticism to attack the rim and score through contact. Ferraioli also flashed good feel on the ball when using and reading ball screens to create for himself and teammates.

Westmoreland was effective on both ends of the floor as his defensive intensity and quick hands and feet led to him disrupting ball handlers, tipping passes, ripping guys for steals and he turned those turnovers into easy offense on the other end. The 6-foot freshman showed elite transition speed and his aggressiveness attacking the rim on the break resulted in a bunch of easy buckets throughout the event. Westmoreland earned Co-MVP honors of the Top 60 game after registering 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
