ProWest Names To Know and Newcomers Class of 2029

September 5-6 PH NorCal was in Walnut Creek, CA at the Fieldhouse for the annual Pro West Exposure Camp featuring more than 200 NorCal Prospect. Here we're taking a deeper look at the up and coming prospects along with some newcomers that are now on our radar from the Class of 2029.    Played well in the Top 60 Game, shows good fundamental skills on the offensive side of the ball. Shot ready squares up for catch and shoot 3's. He's a legitimate threat to knock down 3's if left unattended. He'll use a dribble to free himself for a long range jumper, or go further to the elbow. He's got a floater. He's an improving ball handler, doesn't waste dribbles, has a couple of ways to get his shot off in traffic.     He was a contributor on the Varsity, runs the point guard position. A good ball handler uses quick dribbles, crossovers with a burst on the initial attack, he'll drive and kick, stands shot ready along the perimeter. He can hit the mid-range jumper off the dribble. He has a good defensive stance, moves his feet, fights through screens, helps off ball. We'll see more.     Logged quality minutes as a Freshman on the Varsity. He was a Top 60 Game participant. A solid point guard, bulked up a bit. He's playing with confidence right now. He's getting to the basket taking the bumps. He has an improving short jumper, expanded range for 3's. He's a good on ball defender, applies pressure full court, runs on the sides stays close, cuts off ball handlers.     He was an active player at this event. He went hard and strong to the basket whenever the opportunity presented itself, sometimes finishing with two handed dunks. He did get his own shot using the dribble, he sees the court, a willing passer. He got a good number of rebounds, for put back point, showed he can rebound and go. He has lengthy arms, looks conditioned. We'll keep an eye on him.     This was our second time seeing Elliot. He always seems to be in the mix. He plays with balance, attacks using crossovers, and other moves to get into the paint for jumpers, and floaters. He makes cuts to the basket finishes in traffic. He's a fast guard, puts pressure on defenses in transition. He has range, made a couple of open 3's. Has footspeed can stay close to ball handling point guards.     A strong body point guard, fast puts pressure on defenses early and often when has the ball. He pushes fast in transition will go all the way if you don't cut him off. He had strong dribble drives from different angles, finished his shots in traffic didn't mind the contact. He has good handles, makes the extra pass, can knock down a 3ptr in rhythm. A speedy defender can put pressure on the ball, might get a strip.
