Chris Shiflett Chris Shiflett 5'10" | PG Evangel | 2025 State LA 5’9″ Evangel Christian Academy
Chris is a true floor general who can control the pace of the game. He has great court vision and seems to always make the right play with the ball in his hands. Chris is also one the better shooters in the state and is consistent double digit scorer. He has great ball handling skills and can score from all three level. He plays good team defense and is must see player this coming season. Evangel lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs last season.
Jamal Drewery Jamal Drewery 5'10" | PG Scotlandville | 2025 State LA 5’10” Scotlandville
Jamal is the spark plug that makes this powerful Scotlandville Hornets team go. He average 12 points and 6 assist last season. He can create open looks for his teammates with his ball handling and passing skills. Jamal dictates the flow of the game and knocks down three point shots. He plays good high pressure defense and gets in passing lanes to create turnovers. Scotlandville lost in the state championship game last season.
Jalen Brown Jalen Brown 5'10" | PG Avoyelles Charter | 2025 State LA 5’10” Avoyelles Charter
Jalen is very good junior point guard and is a true floor general who can score in bunches. He averaged 17 points and 3 assist a game last season . He was a 1st team class B allstate selection. He is a great shooter from all three levels and is great passer. Jalen is one of the better defenders in the state. Avoyelles Charter won the Division V Select State Championship last season.
Kerry McMillian Kerry McMillian 6'1" | PG John F Kennedy | 2025 State LA 6’1″ John F. Kennedy
Kerry is another outstanding junior point guard. He is another floor general that can score from all three levels. He has great court awareness on both ends of the court and is good rebounding guard. Kerry is a must see player this season for Kennedy. Kennedy lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs last season.
Jordan Matthews Jordan Matthews 6'0" | PG Vandebilt Catholic | 2025 State LA 5’11” Vandebilt Catholic
Jordan is another floor general who can really shoot the three point shot. He averaged over 17 points a game and was honorable mention allstate selection in class 4A. Jordan plays with high energy from tipoff to final horn and is great off the dribble. He does all the little things that make you a great player hustle, rebounds , plays defense and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands . Vandebilt lost in the quarterfinals last season.
