This article will be about the 1A/2A/3A Northwest Conference MVP and first team selections.
MVP: Davis Fogle Davis Fogle 6'6" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2025 #105 Nation AZ (2025) – Anacortes HS
Davis is a top 3 player in the entire 2025 class within the state of Washington. He scores at all 3 levels extremely well, creating space with his handles easily. He is fun to watch as it all looks so natural for Fogle. His game improves throughout his sophomore season and he earned MVP rights in the NWC last season. Given he has only improved over the summer, I think he will repeat as the MVP. Fogle has been gaining interest from several Division 1 schools with Washington, Nebraska, Virginia, Gonzaga, and Boise St the ones showing interest, as of now.
Other MVP Candidates: Anthony Canales Anthony Canales 6'4" | SG Lynden | 2024 State WA (2024) – Lynden HS, Jeremiah Wright Jeremiah Wright 6'6" | PF Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (2024) – Lynden Christian HS
First Team:

Anthony Canales Anthony Canales 6'4" | SG Lynden | 2024 State WA (2024) – Lynden HS – Anthony is a fantastic scorer on the court. His handles give him the ability to get to whatever spot he chooses too with his length helping him out as well. He hits mid-range shots very well, having a high release on his jumper. His vision is up there with the best within the conference, finding his teammates smoothly and at a high rate. He is one of the top candidates for players to win the MVP within the conference.
Jeremiah Wright Jeremiah Wright 6'6" | PF Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (2024) – Lynden Christian HS – Jeremiah is a huge mismatch for almost any team within the conference. He’s got a huge frame, being able to body just about anyone. Wright rebounds well, having great anticipation and is extremely athletic for his size. His great footwork carries over from his quarterback skills on the football field. He’s been working on his jumper from mid/long range and has been improving at a steady rate.
Quinn Swanson Quinn Swanson 6'2" | SG Mount Vernon | 2024 State WA (2024) – Mount Vernon HS – Quinn is a fantastic scorer on the court. He can get to his spots well, knowing his next move before he even does it. He plays calm and calculated, rarely turning the ball over and having control of the pace of the game. His shot is outstanding from deep, being able to shoot it from 4/5 feet beyond the line and hit them at an efficient rate. He’s able to score 25-30 points a night and could very well be in the mix.
Jaeger Fyfe Jaeger Fyfe 6'1" | SG Meridian | 2025 State WA (2025) – Meridian HS – Jaeger is versatile on the court, being able to play with or without the ball in his hands. He has solid movement on the court, being able to find his spots and hit jumpers smoothly at a high rate. He plays alongside Talon Jenkins Talon Jenkins 6'6" | SF Meridian | 2025 State WA very well, being a solid 1-2 punch. Fyfe has the ability to drop 20 a night, with his ability to hit jumpers and get to the rim smoothly. He’s a junior to keep an eye on.
Brant Heppner Brant Heppner 6'6" | SF Lynden | 2025 State WA (2025) – Lynden HS – Brant is one of the best defensive players in the conference, protecting the paint for the Lions at a very high level. He stretches the floor really well, being able to step outside and hit the three ball with ease. He is fantastic off the pick and roll, knowing when to roll or when to pop at the perfect time for his teammates. He’ll likely average a double double during this upcoming season, likely making him a first team player.
