He sees the floor extremely well, knocks down shots in bunches, and is a solid defender as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476994' first='Reese' last='Trepanier'] (West Branch): 16.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.7 steals, 62.0 FG%, 39.3 3P%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Trepanier is a dominant rebounder with a non-stop motor. He's a physical forward who never shies away from contact and his ability to control the glass is huge for a Bears team that is pretty small. He worked hard to extend his range and has turned himself into a pretty reliable 3-point shooting threat as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1376706' first='Landyn' last='Putman'] (Wilton): 14.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals, 47.0 FG%, 37.3 3P%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bouncy wing who can score off the dribble or with good off-ball movement, Putman is a good shooter off the catch with a quick, smooth release. He'll be asked to take on an even bigger scoring role this season following the graduations of Caden Kirkman and Aidan Walker. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 Jayce McHugh (West Liberty): 15.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.6 steals, 49.6 FG%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McHugh is a throwback forward who does all of his damage inside the arc. In fact, of his 252 shot attempts last season, only 12 were from behind the arc. At 6-1 he's a bit undersized for a traditional forward, but he's a good athlete who finishes well around the bucket. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 Drew Streb (Regina): 13.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 51.2 FG%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With their top four scorers returning, the Regals should be much improved this season, and Streb is a major reason why. He's a physical force in the paint with soft hands and great touch around the bucket.
