The last three weeks of hoops culminated in bracket play matchups on Sunday with a few champions being crowned for their efforts throughout the month of October. As we did each week of this great event, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage. Let’s take a look back and highlight some of the top performers from the fourth and final week of the Metro Indy Fall League.
On a team loaded with talent, Davidson stood out as Team Curry took the Varsity C Bracket at the Metro Indy Fall League. The 5’11” Noblesville High School guard knocked in four three-pointers on his way to 18 points in a blowout victory in the semifinals and continued his strong play in their evening win as well. He is capable of playing on or off of the ball as a scorer and is a capable on-ball defender as well. There were higher ranked prospects on this team, including three of the best sophomores in the state, but Davidson was a consistent top performer on Sunday.

Over the summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit it almost became a running joke that no All-Tournament team would be complete without including Eli Ellis Eli Ellis 5’11” | SG Plainfield | 2024 State IN . The 5’10” guard was dominant offensively while leading his Kyle Guy Elite Black squad to the Prep Hoops Grit Region championship. In similar fashion, the Plainfield High School point guard helped his team win the Metro Indy Fall League as well. Ellis is well known as an elite shooter, but his overall playmaking ability was on display on Sunday.

North Central High School is going to have a talented backcourt this season. Jewell, a 6’1″ junior guard, was excellent on Sunday night scoring 23 points in a game that I watched. He is a very good three-point shooter with a smooth, quick, and repeatable stroke off of the catch. Jewell is also athletic enough to get into the paint off of the dribble and finish both all the way at the rim and with a variety of floaters and little pull-ups in the intermediate range. Talented all-around offensive player.
There was a stretch during Sunday night’s Metro Indy Fall League championship game where Lomax absolutely took over. Whether it was a highlight reel-worthy dunk, an athletic drive to the basket, or a three-point shot, the Brownsburg High School senior guard seemed to score it in every way possible at different points of the game. He went on to finish with a team-high 24 points as his team captured the title.

It has been a great fall for this dynamic scoring guard that transferred from Taylor to Kokomo High School for his sophomore season. Moore culminated his strong off-season with an exclamation point on Sunday afternoon scoring 38 points in a game. He is so good with the ball in his hands, gets to the rim consistently, and is a threat to score it from all three levels at any given time. The Wildkats backcourt is going to be younger, but it will feature some real explosiveness this season.
There were several prospects that played at a high level for Coach Andy Williams team on their way to winning the “B” bracket at the Metro Indy Fall League. However, point guard Tanner Teschendorf Tanner Teschendorf 6’2″ | PG Mount Vernon (Fortville) | 2025 State IN is always the straw that stirs the drink. He is an excellent playmaker off of the bounce with high-level court vision, passing ability, and creative finishing ability inside of the paint. There are a lot of exciting, young pieces in the Marauders backcourt but Teschendorf is definitely one of them.
