Following his move back to Iowa after spending a few years in Florida, Shabazz immediately checks in to the top spot in the 2026 rankings. He’s a fantastic athlete on the perimeter with good size at 6-4, great length, and the ability to impact the game in a major way on both ends of the floor. He already holds offers from Iowa State, Siena, Bryant, Southern Miss, and Wake Forest, and that list will only continue to grow over the next 18 months.
(26) Tyson Davis Tyson Davis 6'5" | SF Waukee Northwest | 2026 State IA | SF | Waukee Northwest
Davis’ twin brother was already ranked, but Tyson joins him in the rankings now. He’s a long, versatile 6-5 wing who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He uses his length to defend multiple positions, he can shoot it a bit, rebounds well on both ends, and is a good enough ball-handler to create looks for his teammates.
(49) Hudson Shull Hudson Shull 5'11" | SG ADM | 2026 State IA | SG | ADM
Shull can play with or without the ball in his hands, showing the ability to create off the dribble for himself and his teammates as well as shoot it well off the catch. He’s a tough guard who defends well on the ball, contributes on the glass, and finishes well through contact.
(52) Marcele Whitner Marcele Whitner 6'4" | SF Mason City | 2026 State IA | SF | Mason City
An intriguing young prospect with good length and athleticism at 6-4, Whitner was a standout at the Top 250 Expo last month, showing the ability to create for himself, rebound on both ends of the floor, and finish around the bucket. He can shoot it a bit, but he’s at his best when he’s attacking and finishing at the rim.
(57) Jack McGuire Jack McGuire 6'5" | SF Pella | 2026 State IA | SF | Pella
McGuire is a long wing with a huge wingspan that he uses to cover a ton of ground on the defensive end. He gets into passing lanes and contests shots, and he’s strong on the glass on both ends of the floor. He’s another player who stood out at the Winterset team camp in June, showing the ability to stuff the stat sheet in a variety of ways. He’s a good passer who sees the floor well and he can get to the rim, where he’s a really good finisher.
(61) Will Wehr Will Wehr 6'2" | SG Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2026 State IA | SG | Prairie
Wehr is a really good shooter off the catch who moves well without the ball in his hands, finding open spaces in the defense to get his shot off. He uses that weapon to open up the rest of his game, handling it well and getting into the teeth of the defense, where he’s a threat to score with a good floater game or find an open teammate.
(63) Sam Blair Sam Blair 5'9" | PG Waukee Northwest | 2026 State IA | PG | Waukee Northwest
A 5-9 guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands, Blair is quick with the ball, getting end-to-end better than most in the class. He changes directions well and is able to blow by defenders with a quick first step.
