Here are the top-8 SG's in the 2026 class: (A good mixture of shooting and athleticism).

[player_tooltip player_id='1482165' first='Rider' last='Portela'] Sunnyslope

A bigger scoring guard is one of the more versatile players in the class. Scouts in the West are now seeing what we have been seeing as he is a true Swiss Army Knife. He defends multiple positions and scores from the three and pull-ups and dunks in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2198842' first='Imahri' last='Wooten'] AZ Compass Prep

Another bigger guard transferred in from New York to play on the National NIBC team. He can score it from the perimeter with jumpers from deep off the catch and can drive it to the basket. He comes off the bench and fires away.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211004' first='Rokiem' last='Green'] Canyon International Academy

A physical off guard is a three level scorer and will defend. He is tough getting downhill and has plus athleticism. He scores above the rim and can also shoot it. He has the mid-range pull-up or he can hit the three off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685490' first='Patrice' last='Mpouli'] Hamilton

A transfer by way of Washington will make an immediate impact for the Huskies. He can shoot the three, get downhill with his sturdy frame and dunk the ball on the break. He makes good reads and will defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1676630' first='Kristo' last='Jackson'] San Tan Charter

A good sized guard can score from all three levels and has become way more athletic in the last year. He throws it down on the break, he will score in traffic and he can shoot the three ball. He is starting to pull-up more from mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2045282' first='Landon' last='Jones'] Ironwood

A long and lean shooting guard who may be still growing. He is already at six-foot three and has one of the prettier strokes in the sophomore class from the AIA. He lets it go quickly from the three point line and can pull-up from the perimeter as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147242' first='Isaac' last='McNair'] Premier Prep Tucson (Pictured)

A tall and long scoring guard can shoot it from deep with range and gets up on the break to dunk the ball impressively. He is not well known but should come on the scene in the new EIBC league. He can euro downhill and is unselfish to make plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='2212694' first='Lamar' last='Murray'] Canyon International Academy

An undersized scoring guard is another top of the food chain shooter. He can rattle them off one by one off the catch. He can throw it down surprisingly despite his size and is very quick. He shows good body control in heavy traffic to score tough layups.
