Quaintance makes his debut as a new face in the 2024 rankings at the No. 2 spot with quite the offer sheet. Kentucky, Baylor, Kansas, Mississippi State, Oregon, Pittsburgh and Washington have all offered the Word of God big man as he enters the OTE stage as a top name to know for their squad. He looks like he’s ready to turn a corner after averaging 6.7 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 2.8 BPG in the FIBA U16 Americas Championship as Team USA took home gold this past summer. He’s a recent mover into the 2024 class that a lot of high-major programs are after.
Machot is a prospect who’s name has grown on the national stage over the past few months with Winston-Salem Christian School. He’s a versatile 7-footer who’s mobile enough to run the forward spot and also solid enough to run the anchor position in the painted area. He’s shown his growth as a prospect who can knock down shots in space, finish with authority and operate around the rim on both ends as he’s earned offers from Bethune-Cookman, California, High Point, Jacksonville State, Mississippi State, Missouri, TCU, VCU and others. Look for his name to grow as he’s seen on a national stage with Winston-Salem Christian.
Smith is a sizeable stretch-forward prospect at 6-foot-7 who saw his status grow on the recruiting scene this past grassroots cycle with Team Charlotte on the UAA stage. He’s a prospect who plays with a ton of energy given his ability to knock down shots, handle the ball and defend the painted area. He’ll be a name to watch as a new face in the 2024 rankings. He’s a prospect already committed to Mercer University in the SoCon as he looks to make his debut in the NCISAA this season with Davidson Day School.
Williams is an import prospect for Moravian Prep out of the state of Ohio as he looks to make a splash on the OTE stage. He’s a 6-foot-6 wing/forward prospect who was a top name in the International Sports Academy rotation given his ability to handle the ball, operate in space and fly around both ends for rebounds and steals. He holds offers from Akron, Radford, Youngstown State, Albany and Little Rock as he heads into high-level basketball alongside a slew of talented names.
Dalton is a new face in the state of North Carolina after attending Woodside High (VA) in 2022-23. He’s a budding prospect who can operate at either forward position and should pose a ton of matchup problems for opponents as Central Cabarrus High looks to repeat as state champions and go undefeated again in 2023-24. He’s a presence who can defend the painted area and finish in a variety of ways in the painted area. Look for his name to grow in the state this season in the NCHSAA’s South Piedmont Conference.
