Team Preview Milton Academy 5 Players to Know

Milton Academy will look to repeat as the NEPSAC Class A champions this season. They have a talented team coming back, with a number of high level college prospects. Here are 5 player to know this season from the Milton Squad. [player_tooltip player_id='1487314' first='CJ' last='Cox'], Class 2024, Position CG, HT 6'2 CJ is very skilled Guard, and I think has the potential to play the division 1 college level. He holds multiple division 1 offers already, and should keep gaining more interest. He has long range and a smooth shot from the outside. He is very quick off the dribble and also can get downhill. He can create his own shot or a shot for his teammates. It is tough for opposing defenders to stay in front of him. He can change speeds so well, and he can stop on a dime. Also a tough defender. [player_tooltip player_id='1487325' first='CJ' last='Happy'], Class 2024, HT 6'9, Position PF/C CJ is a 6'9 skilled big man. He has good hands, and can score in the post with his variety of moves, and good touch around the rim. He can play with his back to the basket, has a nice turnaround shot, or use his powerful drop step move. He can run the floor, and finish above the rim. His skill set is constantly improving. He rebounds the ball very well, and is also a strong rim protector on defense. CJ's combination of Size, Skill, athleticism and grit, is why I think he will have a big season at Milton, and do very well in college at the IVY league level. [player_tooltip player_id='1489258' first='Nick' last='Petronio'], Position CG, HT 6'3, Class 2024 Nick is an extremely efficient and high percentage shooter. He can get his shot off in multiple ways. He can shoot off the dribble, in transition, or catch and shoot. He is a strong playmaker, and he has also showed he can create for others as well. Nick is a high level Guard, and is committed to play next year at Boston College. [player_tooltip player_id='1192414' first='Austin' last='Hunt'], Class 2024, Position SG, HT 6'4, Austin is a high impact Guard, with a ton of athleticism, and a high basketball IQ. Austin had the game winning steal and basket in the NEPSAC class A finals last year. He is a very good spot up shooter, makes very high level cuts off the ball, and can also play above the rim. Austin impacts the game on both sides of the floor. He is committed to Harvard, and should fit well at that level. L.J Reddicks, Class 2026, HT 6'4, Position SF Watch for L.J to come and make a big impact for the Milton team. L.J has a good combination of length, athleticism, and skill. He is a 3 level scorer, who can face up, shoot, or score with his back to the basket. He looks like he feels more comfortable, and is growing into his frame. He can be a paint protector, and also has shown he can defend on the perimeter. I think there is lots of upside and potential for the true Sophomore.
