Scott was one of the best players I saw on Saturday. He had supreme confidence in his game. He took early control of the game and did not let it go. Started the game with a pair of steals. He was getting to the basket whenever he wanted and did it with ease. He is a special slasher who uses his quick first step to get by the defender. Hey had very good body control in the air and had tremendous finishing ability with either hand. Scott also showed a good stroke as well on his jumper. This kid is a very good player.
Michael Graves
Michael Graves
Graves has what you want your point guard to have. Good strong body with great poise and control. He has a calmness to his game that you need in your point guard. He has a really nice skill set. Good handles and passing. Never force anything. It was rare if he had a turnover. He also was knocking down shots if you left him open.
Hayden Freeman Walker
Hayden Freeman Walker
Freeman Walker was one of my favorite players I watched at the 250 Expo. He is the definition of heart over height. He is a shorter guard but he is a stocky and strong player. He handles the ball very well and makes good plays. He is a nice distributor of the ball and got everyone involved. He showed a good ability to score for his height as well. My favorite thing about this kid is he took a lot of charges. It was great to see a basketball showcase.
Jimmy Hill
Jimmy Hill
Hill was one of the shiftiest point guards at the event. Super quick and broke defenders down consistently. Made them shift their hips and did a great job of attacking their top foot. Stocky guard with good strength which allowed him to use contact. He did a great job of getting everyone on his team involved. Super unselfish player who got it to his teammates early in scoring positions. Love to see that from your point guard.
