Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1578342' first='Alex' last='Couto']

Although he is one of the smaller guards in the in-state 2025 class, Couto is projected to be the top player for Carmel this upcoming season. He is one of the more talented junior guards in the state and is an excellent outside shooter, handles the ball very well, and has flashed the ability to play either on or off of the ball. A high IQ player as well, he should help lead the young Carmel team this season. He is a name to know this year.

Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell']

At 6'7", Harrell has some of the highest upside in the in-state 2026 class. He has excellent height and length to pair with his guard-like skill. He has shown that he can be a star on the defensive end using his length well to disrupt, and he has enough athleticism and size to guard 1 through 5. A name to know and to watch for during his sophomore season.

Other Important Roster Members

[player_tooltip player_id='1578450' first='Owen' last='Huber'] - Huber is anther potential player that could see a breakout senior season. He is a big body that is hard to move, while also being one of the better passing bigs we have seen in the 2024 in-state class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1761730' first='Ryan' last='Clevenger'] - Clevenger is a good catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc, handles the ball very well, and showcases a high basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. Should see an increased role for Carmel this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561121' first='Jamichael' last='Fountain'] - Fountain is a strong point guard that is really hard to guard when he is getting downhill into the paint. He is quick off of the bounce, creates his own shot, and finishes well at the end of his drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='1738257' first='Anthony' last='Coellner'] - He is a stronger, athletic guard at 6'1” that gets to the rim consistently and finishes at the end of his drives. Skilled guard to keep an eye on coming out for Carmel in the coming years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561011' first='Isaiah' last='Boutros'] - Boutros is a small forward with a big frame. Plays with a great motor and cuts well off the ball.
