The best of the young prospects in my opinion was this face up forward. The lefty is a plus shooter from three that let them fly off the catch hitting them at a solid rate. Gets it off with ease and has a quick release both pulling up and off the catch. More than just a shooter he can also deck it slashing to the rim for layups showing athleticism around the rim. Also liked how he crashed the glass with his pop high pointing them and snatching the ball with two hands. Fluid rim runner that was a problem in transition! Bright future here!

Bryden Dohnal (New Trier – 2026)

Thin and long combo guard showed some shake off the bounce blowing past defenders for an and-1. Also displayed solid range out to beyond the three point arc with a clean shot.

Thick bodied guard that broke down defenders for drives and pull ups. Good shot including stretching it to three and mixed in some floaters.

High-energy point guard that is slick with the ball in his hands. Got to the cup for euro steps along with making regular trips to the charity stripe. Can also pass it pretty well and is a creative ball handler.

[player_tooltip player_id='2455406' first='Kevinas' last='Salkauskas'] (Stagg – 2027)

Strong bodied forward that did a nice job rebounding in traffic while utilizing spins and crafty finishes inside. Finished very well through contact at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2751053' first='Jacob' last='Only'] (Heineman Middle School – 2028)

Long and thin combo guard that has that “it” factor to his game. He was active on the defensive end with his long arms and instincts. Smooth with the ball in his hands scoring a lot in transition along with an occasional three.
