Grassroots season has ended, the high school season is still a couple months away, and fall leagues haven’t started in full force yet. These are the couple of months reserved for getting back to school and starting the football season. However, in 49 other states it is just basketball, but this INDIANA. Prep Hoops Indiana is your 365-day a year source for content and we will never stop coming up with unique series to satisfy the hunger for year-around news. Walston was a major stock-riser through the summer playing with Kyle Guy Elite and should continue to see his recruitment pick up going into his senior high school season. At 6’6″, the Noblesville product possesses excellent size, length, and athleticism on the wing while having guard-like skills. He is a great passer, can act as a secondary playmaker, and is a catch-and-shoot threat as well. Air Force just offered him and several Division III programs are heavily involved.

After a strong summer with Indiana Ice on the 3SGB Circuit, Hood vaulted into the Top 30 of the Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings. The 6’3″-6’4″ wing has excellent physical tools, can score from all three levels, and uses his strength well on the way to the basket. He picked up an offer from Saint Francis, has a lot of other small college interest, and recently had Army come see a workout.
This athletic wing/forward will be able to play the 3 or the 4 at the next level due to his mixture of size, skill, and athleticism. Hayworth handles the ball well, can drive it left consistently, and is very good attacking closeouts. He also has good tools when finishing around the basket and can play above the rim. The Concordia Lutheran product recently earned an Indiana Wesleyan offer.
Highlights
Potential, potential, potential. Murans has all of the athletic and physical tools you could ask for as a 6’7″ wing that can sky well above the rim. He is a versatile defender, finishes inside, and has some developing perimeter skills. Look for Murans to be a stock-riser in our next rankings update and that has been reflected with recent Division I offers from Army and Missouri State.

White was a key piece of Ben Davis’ 33-0 state championship team as a junior and will look to step into a further expanded role as a senior. He can play any spot 1-3 on the perimeter and absolutely can guard any of them as well. The 6’3″ wing is physical, very athletic, and an excellent driver going right. Has an offer from Culver-Stockton, Dillard, and a handful of other small college opportunities.
