Blake is one of the toughest, hard-nose players in the state. He not only plays with a high motor at all times on both sides of the ball but he is a player that will put his body on the line to get a loose ball or to track down a rebound. He probablly averages two charges a game. Blake is a game changer and he brings great energy to the floor. In the post he can displace defenders and he is active on the glass. Keep an on Blake as a solid next level player that has skills that keep him on the floor.

The big fella has skills and his stretch big game makes him a tough cover. Word is that he is over at Corner Canyon now and all CCHS does is produce D1 forwards and Derelle might just benefit from this transfer. He already has some offers at the D1 level, but look for him to sharpen his skills and work on that man to man defense at the high school level. With him on the roster this could really put Corner Canyon over the top.
One of the bigger PF as he looks a lot bigger that he is at 6’9 and he has some really solid wingspan. Owen could really turn into a shot blocker as he can protect the rim with his mobility and length. Rebounding he does a great job. I could see a smart NJCAA school giving him a look simply for his size and soft hands for sure.
Really enjoy watching the progression of this kid as he has gone from CG/W to SF to PF and he embraces his height and strength and plays the position. He is not just hanging out in the corner and looking to shoot three pointers, he is looking to help his team win as he gets into the post and is working in the paint a lot more than he ever has.
Kai has been coming along slowly. Kai has the IQ and the skills to make a team better when he is on the floor and the ball is in his hands as he makes good decisions when it comes to attacking or passing the ball. Kai uses a quick spin when his back is to the basket. He has a soft touch and knows how to put the ball up high off the glass against rim protectors. We have yet to see the best of Kai, stay tuned.

Talk about a kid that has so much potential. He can switch almost 1-5 at all times as he uses his length to keep players at bay and in-front, he also uses that foot speed and lateral movement to slide with players on the defensive side as well. When he perfects those over the shoulder hooks and push shots he is really going to rise. Keep an eye on him this year.
