Andrew Kretkowski Andrew Kretkowski 6'7" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2027 State NJ , 6’6 Rutgers Prep
Kretkowski is one of the top prospects in the 2027 class and should put his talent on display this winter. The 6’6 wing has a good handle, which he uses to get to the rim and finish around the basket. Kretkowski uses his size to see over his defender and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Kretkowski is a talented wing prospect, who will put up big numbers for the Argonauts in 2023-24.
Jkhai Singletary Jkhai Singletary 6'4" | SF Paterson Charter | 2027 State NJ , 6’4 Paterson Charter
Singlatary has the potential to have a big debut varsity season with his combination of length and athleticism. The 6’4 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes with authority above the rim and does not mind drawing contact. Singletary moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Singletary is an athletic wing prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the season.
Luka Kuqo Luka Kuqo 6'7" | PF Ridgewood | 2027 State NJ , 6’7 Ridgewood
Kuqo is one of the more intriguing prospects in the class and he should put his game on display this season. The 6’7 wing is comfortable playing on the perimeter as he has a nice handle and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. Kuqo finishes nicely around the basket and can also score in the mid-range. He rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and is an underrated defender. Kuqo is a skilled wing prospect who should make noise this season on the perimeter.
Asante Jones Asante Jones 6'9" | PF College Achieve | 2027 State NJ , 6’7 College Achieve
Jones is a prospect to track in the 2027 class with his combination of length and skill. The 6’7 wing knows how to get to his spot on the floor and can knock down jumpers on the perimeter. Jones is able to draw contact in the paint and is a solid finisher around the basket. He is capable of pushing the pace in transition and uses his length to be disruptive on defense. Jones’ stock will be one to watch throughout the winter if he is able to consistently make plays on both ends of the floor.
Mekhi Jean-Pierre Mekhi Jean-Pierre 6'5" | SF Arts | 2027 State NJ , 6’4 Arts
Jean-Pierre joins a talented Jaguars’ wing group, but he should still make an impact this season. The 6’4 wing is at his best attacking the basket as he finishes well around the basket and is able to draw contact. Jean-Pierre rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. He slides his feet on defense and works hard on the glass. Jean-Pierre is a lanky wing prospect who should be a 2027 prospect to watch in Essex County.
