Next, we will be headlining with our top five power forwards in the Class of 2026. Our latest rankings for the sophomore class have been updated on our website.
The 6-10 sophomore power forward will be playing under a new style of play this upcoming season, as he transferred from IMG Academy to Oak Ridge this summer. Winkler is not your traditional power forward as he plays with a high motor and great length on both sides of the floor. He is a sensational rebounder on both ends as well as a lob threat around the rim. He is a force and plays with a load of physicality inside the paint finishing against multiple defenders.
The 6-8 sophomore forward is the true definition of a stretch forward, as he can knock down shots at all three levels. Westercamp has a smooth shooting stroke whether it’s out on the perimeter or around the rim with his back to the basket. He is an above average rebounder for his size and is unafraid to play with a little physicality on the defensive end. Westercamp moves quickly to defend out on the perimeter as he is at his absolute best when he is challenging shots.
Highlights
The 6-7 sophomore power forward is also known as a big-time football recruit who is unafraid to play with physicality on both ends of the floor. He will be a name that intrigues fans out in the Panhandle for the next three seasons as he is very athletic who can play out on the perimeter with his knack for shooting the 3-ball. On the defensive end, Bowden is a perennial shot blocker and rim protector around the rim with good length and huge upside. Bowden holds football offers from Kentucky and Texas A&M.
Highlights
The 6-5 sophomore power forward is a stretch forward who can knock down shots from the perimeter as well as defend guards at a high level. Brigham also has a nice and consistent jump shot where he made at a respectable percentage as a freshman last season. He is also an underrated passer for his size and gets his teammates involved early and often.
The 6-6 sophomore power forward shows a very good dose of athleticism when he is out on the floor. Morgan runs the floor exceptionally well for his size and is very active in the passing lanes. Morgan will look to gain confidence in shooting from the perimeter as his sophomore season nears. His ceiling for potential is high and will have to be able to defend multiple positions and play a versatile role for college coaches to start peaking interest.
