Florida Freshman Showcase: Young Guards on Display

He's a feisty defender who hustles for every loose ball and catches opponents off guard with his ability to attack the basketball. He has a solid handle and consistently gets to his spots on the floor, using his body well to finish at the rim. Rivera also showed a nice pull up mid range, rising up over defenders to knock down shots, while his ability to shoot from deep adds another layer to his scoring package. His handle and speed allow him to get past defenders, and he finishes with a nice touch around the basket. Fagan also showed maturity as a lead guard, doing a great job penetrating defenses and kicking the ball out to open teammates on the perimeter or finding bigs down low. He showed plenty of creativity at the showcase, finishing with finesse around the rim and finding different ways to score. The lefty is constantly looking for opportunities to let it fly, and he proved to be a money shooter off the catch. At 6'1, Orris also has solid size as a two-guard and potential upside defensively.
