Weaver is a quick, skilled and creative freshman lead guard with an impressive feel for the game. He has excellent command of the basketball, makes good decisions and is a very good passer who can create opportunities for teammates. Weaver can also score the ball and is especially effective in transition, where he likes to push the pace and put pressure on the defense.

Weaver III had himself a nice showcase, where he played solid throughout the day, in both 3-3 and 5-5 play. The 5’10” guard had some amazing passes, and acted as a great facilitator each time he was on the floor. He is a quick and shifty guard with excellent handles who likes to play with the ball in his hands. The rising freshman has the ability to create his own shot, but thrives when attacking the paint and dishing to the open man.
