Here’s a list of who we think will have the biggest impacts on their team’s upcoming season and their individual success.
Coby Dillon Coby Dillon 5’10” | CG Woodrow Wilson | 2026 State WV is a super exciting player who’s entering his sophomore year at Beckley Woodrow Wilson. a strong and solid built guard, Coby does nothing less than full speed. His speed and quickness are certainly his strengths and allow him to play downhill and constantly apply pressure to the defense. He starts every action by beating his man in front of him and possesses a change of speed and strong finishing moves that don’t allow defenders to relax. A great floor presence and command of the ball always puts Dillon in position to succeed.
Harry Silvis Harry Silvis 6’3″ | SG Parkersburg South | 2026 State WV is rather well known in MOV basketball circles. However, the rest of the state will know the name by March. Silvis is a long athletic wing or shooting guard that consistently knocks down tough shots whether its from deep or midrange. Silvis length and good feet will allow him to guard several positions while giving him great shooting looks from the perimeter. He has outstanding handles for an incoming sophomore guard and knows how to set himself up for easy buckets while drawing attention to free up teammates. Recruiting attention will get kicked off during the upcoming school season while Silvis suits up for the Parkersburg South Patriots.
Highlights
Isaac Hodges Isaac Hodges 6’6″ | PF Ritchie County | 2026 State WV is a smooth shooting forward with outstanding basketball skills. Hodges has one of the softest touches around the rim i’ve seen in high school. Already a year as a varsity starter under his belt, Hodges looks to take the lead role for the Ritchie Co. rebels this upcoming season and bloat his already impressive stats. Hodges always seems to be in the right place at the right time and capitalize on those opportunities. Already on the radar of several schools recruiting lists, look for Hodges to get some interest and maybe even an offer.
Noah Lewis Noah Lewis 6’6″ | PF George Washington | 2026 State WV has burst onto the recruiting scene in WV showing a blue-collar approach and fundamental parts of his game. Noah has a knack for making every play look easy with good feet and quick moves to get the ball on the rim. Already at 6’6″, Lewis not only has room to grow his body but will almost certainly grow his game by adding some face up skills and 3-point shooting to make him an attractive stretch 4 prospect. He’s currently on the radar of many schools including D1’s. Lewis plays for a loaded George Washington HS team in Charleston WV.
