who we’ve mentioned on our weekly highlight articles is one of the more interesting post guys because he doesn’t always look like a post player because there’s long stretches in games where he simply doesn’t post. But however he does know how to get the ball in the post or out and is one of the best mid-range shooters in WV we believe, in any class. Hodges who started as a freshman and led his team in scoring many times has stepped up his assertiveness and become a complete matchup problem for coaches planning to spar against him. The recognition of where and how to score he possesses is rare, especially at his age. No offers as of yet that we know of but we do know there are several schools that have him on their future watch lists.

is maintaining his dominance in AA basketball consistently posing matchup problems for opposing coaches. Hodges has one of the sweetest mid range shooting strokes in WV despite class or division. A true stretch 4 that college coaches have already taken notice of, Hodges likely rates out currently as a solid MEC candidate in recruiting terms. Isaac posted another solid performance in a loss vs Tyler with 22 points with most in that midrange area. He’s a must see and his Ritchie team will make a strong push to be in Charleston in March.

is a 6’6″ forward in the 2026 class from Ritchie County High School. Hodges doesn’t need much time in the gym to show he’s a shooter. This slick shooting sophomore was nothing less than impressive at the Prep Select event. We’d look for Hodges to continue his scoring tear through school season and start to get college attention early spring.
