The Trojans took a trip to the Elite Eight on the back of their backcourt. [player_tooltip player_id='1267166' first='O'Brien' last='Watkins'] is a running back of a guard. He hits holes with speed and excels at finishing through contact. His running mate will be Pippins, who was a steady fourth option a season ago. Pippins shoots the ball well from deep and is a sneaky good playmaker.

Tennessee Tech offered rising sophomore Pops Dunson this June. His maturity level is through the roof. He's got a strong build, a tight handle and exudes confidence as a lead guard. He can score downhill, hit the open jumper and loves to set up teammates. Freeman moves in from South Cobb. He's a scoring-minded combo-guard that can stretch the floor with his outside shot.

South Paulding
[player_tooltip player_id='1530149' first='Andrew' last='LaVigne'], [player_tooltip player_id='1680428' first='David' last='Williams']

LaVigne has one of the purest strokes in the state. When he gets hot, he can bury threes in succession. He works well away from the ball and gets his feet set quickly off curls. Williams has had a big offseason, stepping up as a more consistent presence. He's athletic and long standing close to 6-foot-5. He cuts well without the ball, is a reliable rebounder and has shown the ability to get to the hoop off the dribble. Williams is also a threat to knock down the corner three.

West can play 1-3. He does a good job getting to the basket and shows good court vision off the dribble. He is a stat sheet stuffer. North is a breakout candidate. His game flows well, really good at slicing his way to the rim but also has a reliable jumper with three-point range. Young is a knockdown shooter that has improved each year off the bounce.

Williams moves in from North Paulding and is one of the best pure point guards in the area. He sets up his teammates consistently and has wiggle with the ball, able to turn corners and get to his spots. Mann moves over from Marietta. He's a potent scorer that gets points from all three levels. He will take smaller defenders onto the block. Mann plays above the rim. Tyler is a Duke football-commit. He's an explosive athlete that scores all over the floor.
